Beautiful Vintage in Alsace.

Simply splendid gite in the most wonderful vintage style, with plenty of space and gloriously adorned with myriads of vintage items in every room. Beautifully clean and well cared for, everything about this lovely cottage was just perfect. The gardens on various levels and having many twists and turns, were full of beautiful flowering plants and shrubs , as well as many varieties of roses. Nicole Hornecker and her husband were only too pleased to help and give advice when needed and we really enjoyed being invited out to social gatherings at a twinning association party and to dinner one evening at the Nicole's beautiful house. They brought us fruit to enjoy and encouraged us to pick lovely flowers from the garden. We would certainly book this gite again when visiting the Alsace region.

La Maison Pain d´Epices is a fantastic cottage!!

The house was beyond our expectations, so warm, cosy, full of vintage details, this cottage is a very special place. We were lucky to be able to stay in desember and it felt so christmassy, loved all the Christmas decorations in the house, it look so beautiful, charming, have no words to describe it. Staying in this beautiful place made our stay very special and we will always remember. It is very good located, in the pretty village of Furchhausen, easy to park, and just half and hour drive to Strasburg along a beautiful countryside road. It is surrounded by other pretty villages where Christmas Markets are also worth to visit too. Have to mention the amability of the owner, she has been very helpful, attentive and kind during our stay gave us very good advices. Lovely and beautiful place, would love to stay in again.

Beautiful cottage, wonderful holiday!!!

An absolutely wonderful cottage, chic and stylish interior. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Located in a quiet and quaint village but also within easy reach of many of the attractions in the area. The owner Nicole was a lovely lady, she was helpful, generous and nothing was too much trouble. We have stayed in many cottages all over France and this was by far the best! We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend this property and this area of France.

Vier Tage haben wir im Knusperhäuschen verbracht. Ein wundervoller Jahreswechsel in einem wunderschönen Ambiente! Die Gastgeberin Nicole ist wunderbar und sehr hilfsbereit!
