A warm welcome to our beautiful, fully air conditioned, single story family home with golf view down the full length of the 17th hole of The Meadows golf course.

We have tastefully redecorated our home throughout and it comes with high end 'Decorator' furnishings with ceiling fans running in all rooms. It is fully equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself.

Our home provides you with 3 bedrooms (all with walk-in closets), 2 bathrooms (one en-suite), foyer, living room, family room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area seating six, laundry room with washer, dryer, covered and screened 400 square foot lanai with pool and spa.

Step into our heated pool or lay out on the wet deck with four adjustable arch cooling jets. Relax in the six person, seven foot, internal diameter spa with six adjustable hydro jets and six air massaging foot jets with wireless remote controller.

We have recently renewed and replaced our pool heater, solar heating panels, sliding doors and pool cage. The latter making the pool area much brighter with a greater feeling of space and openness.

ALL BED LINEN, TOWELS AND BEACH TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.

NO REGULAR CLEANING CHARGE ON DEPARTURE.

For assistance to our potential guests it is worth pointing out that a longer term rental is preferred during the High Season, January to April. Past tenants may be given first right of refusal on some future rental dates.

Our home is located just thirty minutes away from the silky sands of Siesta Key, the fabulous shopping and the plethora of restaurants of St. Armands Circle and a short drive from down town Sarasota, Lido Beach and Longboat Key.

This immaculate vacation rental is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within one minute walk of The Meadows Village Shopping Centre which includes a gastro pub, all day deli, (Golden Daisy Deli), lovely Italian restaurant (Mona Lisa), (all three venues have great hosts), beauty massage therapy centre and ATM.

Within twenty minutes walk of The Meadows Golf and Country Club (where temporary membership can be obtained) which offers miles of free private walking, exercise and biking trails winding throughout the lush and beautifully landscaped community which encompasses golf courses (one private, two open), tennis courts (subject to fee), lakes and pools. The Country Club serves a great menu.

Our home is close to a good variety of shops, theatres, ballet, cinema, all major types of stores, restaurants and a short drive to all local beaches.

From the master bedroom, living and family rooms full width sliding and opening doors lead out to the covered and screened lanai and 400 square foot deck area with ceiling fan, offering outdoor Floridian style living and dining whilst also providing shade. Sit back and watch the world and the golfers go by.

Light up the pool area at night with the multi coloured LED light system.

All bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided and included and there is no regular cleaning charge on departure.

Wi-fi is included and available throughout the house.

We also provide a 'Guest's Draw' of things to do and places to visit.

Hi, this section is actually about us, the OWNERS, not our Agent. We are a family of four living, studying and working in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, UK. Chris and Karen (married 30 years), Tom, 25, working in Sports PR after majoring in Sports Journalism and Josh, 22, studying of Masters of Research in Ancient History Birmingham University. We get over to our home in Florida a couple of times a year as a family. Chris goes more often as he will go for a long weekend to check on the house and play golf. We all love Sarasota and Floridian living.

Lovely peacefull escape

I especially enjoyed looking at the wildlife as I swam a few lengths.A mocking bird seemed to find my breaststroke very amusing.The butterflies were huge.I watched a row between a hawk and a couple of brave little birds..

The golf was hugely enjoyable and a fraction of the cost in UK.Other players were friendly and we were always let through whenever we caught anyone up.

This house has all you would want,including 2 bikes.

It is a good idea to read tv instructions before pushing any buttons

Coming back!

The Winter of 2015-16 was spent in this wonderful property. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable five months and we are looking forward to returning in November. The owners have made a true Floridian retreat, complete with pool, waterfall fountain and spa. Thanks to the owners authorizing upgrades and LuAnne Wilson of Evergreen Realty, the property manager, the house is well equipped and very clean. Everything you would want to do or see are all within a few miles of this quiet and serene area called "The Meadows".

Owner's Response: 1 May 2016. Immediately after our guests stayed at our property, we ourselves spent two weeks at our house, late April, staying with four friends. We would very much like to publicly thank all our guests for treating and looking after our home as if it were their own. It hardly looked lived in. We listen to and take on board any guest's comments, observations and requests that we receive. As a result, as usual during our visit, we went round addressing and attending to any minor reported issues and touching up the paint work and generally refreshing the decor. As with all our visits we have continued to add the odd item here and there including a new clock which is visible on entering in the lobby. More a piece of artwork than a working clock. We also replaced and added some new towels and cushions, artwork and a new golfing picture ! So as not to impact on our guests we attended to a number of routine maintenance items including a power clean of the pool cage and deck and the addition of a new second blower to boost the pressure through all the spa jets, We have booked in a routine clean of the pool itself, walls, etc. in August 2016 when we have no guests staying. We updated the 'Guests Information' folder which should now just about cover anything and everything that either a new or returning guest requires to know about our house. Remember all operation manuals are in one of the kitchen drawers. We would continue to recommend Mona Lisa restaurant and The Village Pub, a one minute walk away, in The Meadows Shopping Village. We joined M & D on four or five evenings at Mona Lisa and every time had a thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining evening at low cost. The Malbec and Little Sister were excellent wines. We also dined a couple of evenings at the Pub who seem to have improved and extended their menu. Their burgers are very good. With the USA's strict drink driving laws, it is very useful to have two good eateries on our doorstep within a short walk away. For longer staying guests, membership of The Meadows Country Club is worth considering as it adds a third 'walk to' restaurant down the 17th and 18th fairways of The Meadows course in the evenings when play has finished. Also the gym and Club pool become available as does access to cheaper golf green fees, including The Meadows course, and tennis. We plan to be back in May 2017 as until then various guests are in residence. Otherwise, a big thank you to everyone, The Owners.

A beautiful Villa with all mod cons

A perfect retreat for either relaxing or exploring the area around Sarasota. We had a wonderful stay over New Year. The villa is very comfy and provides all you need. The pool area is lovely with the the option to have water cascading into the pool from the water feature. There is a lovely italian restaurant and pub within walking distance. If you are into Golf it is perfect. Would definitely recommend and have already booked to go back in April 2016

Just delightful!

This is a gem of a villa. Beautifully located in a stunning setting where one can relax all day or reach all sorts of interesting & fabby stuff within a short drive. LuAnne runs the villa as if it is her own and she is excellent in her role. The villa has been renovated to a great standard - the photo's are honest & current. All you need to know has been provided in the info books at the villa - read them coz there's loads to do around Sarasota and lovely places to eat. Crab & Fin is outstanding - but we would also add 'The Outback' steakhouse to the list. It's mid range dining but great for steak, family friendly without being off putting & has a great atmosphere. Totally recommend this property - looking through the photo's is making me ache to go back - which we definitely will asap. Even though we went in 'low season' which meant high humidity it was still wonderful. We had loads of sun as well as some fantastic thunderstorms!

N.B.The only warning we would give to anyone booking is DON'T use Dollar or Thrifty car rental as we did.

Otherwise Sarasota & this villa is the way to go :0)

Owner's Response: Just adding to our guest's comment re car hire, we have settled into using Alamo. On one of our very early bookings we learnt the hard way how they do things but now know what to look for. Alamo will give the impression and seek to offer you a car different to your booking. This is actually an upgrade but the word isn't used. When you come to initial and sign your booking form, one of the stamped declarations is that you have accepted an upgrade at a cost. BEWARE. The Alamo staff at Sarasota airport appear to be far more considerate than those at Tampa airport. On our last booking out of Sarasota airport we requested a sat-nav. The Alamo employee offered us a car upgrade with in-built sat-nav for the same cost of a free standing sat-nav with our original lower quality car booking. The upgraded car was superb.

A GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY HOME

This was our first trip to Florida and thankfully we picked this lovely, spacious house as our base. The property is exactly as described on the website - extremely clean and well maintained.

The pool area is great and was well used by all the family. The kitchen is well equipped, great sound systems and TVs. Having a couple of golf course on your doorstep was the icing on the cake for my wife and I - however I'm not sure if my girls would agree !

For the last 20 years we have had our 2 week family holiday in Europe - usually a beach/pool holiday - looking back I would have been quite happy to go home after approx. 10 days from most of these. However I was gutted when our 17th day in Florida arrived - I believe this was mainly down to our Sarasota home !

GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY HOME

This was our first trip to Florida and we will definitely be back in the near future. This fantastic, spacious family home was our ideal base. The house was exactly as described on the website.

The kitchen is well equipped, great tv and sound systems - and a nice touch was the good selection of board games for our evening family entertainment.

The pool area was well used by both adults and children, The icing on the cake for my wife and I, was having a couple of golf courses on your doorstep - however not sure if my girls would agree !

Over the last 20 years we have had our family pool/beach holidays in Europe - I would normally be ready to go home after 10 days however when the last day of our 17 day Florida trip arrived - I was gutted - this had a lot to do with this superb Florida home.

From the Owner

Hi, this section is why we, the OWNERS, bought this house. For years we dreamt of owning a home in the USA. We previously owned a holiday home in Wiltshire, UK. When we sold this we felt the time and USA property market were right for us. Where do you start ? We knew we wanted to be in Florida but it's a big place. Close friends already owned a condominium on The Meadows and when we researched Sarasota we discovered it to be the '..unwritten cultural capital of Florida..', seven theatres, a ballet company, the Number One beach in America in Siesta Key, great restaurants, shopping, amenities. We had found our dream area. As Chris is a golfer he had always dreamt of owning a property overlooking a fairway so with The Meadows decided upon and our Realtor acting as our guide we embarked upon our search. It took about six months to complete our purchase on 29th April 2011, Royal Wedding Day. We completely gutted the house inside, decorating throughout and employed the services of a Designer to furnish the house. We also inherited a below ground spa which was a pineapple flowerbed. After much research to try and recover this we ended up filling it in and building a new spa, feature waterfall and wet deck. All our guests can see the fantastic end results. We have furnished in a true Floridian style with a few golf reminders dotted around the house and from the comments of our guests so far, we seem to have got it right. Everyone loves the house, it's amenities and situation. When Chris visits for a weekend he eats at the Deli for breakfast and lunch (they do take away coffee) and Mona Lisa for dinner, both a minutes walk away in The Meadows Shopping Village. As family we eat all over the place, especially St. Armand's Circle of an evening for dinner and a stroll. We recommend Columbia and Crab & Fin. Every time we visit the Circle, we just love it, always something new to see in the shops. We hope this short history wets your appetite to stay in our lovely home
