About Ilan and Veronika Morris

My wife and I bought our first Prague property in 2004 and have since built up a portfolio of eight holiday apartments with a value of approx 137m CZK/6,5 m USD, of which approx 1,7 m USD is owned and the rest leased. We specialize in short-term rentals which we manage together with a small team through our sro MJMorris Apartments and Developments.

We develop properties from complete renovation and/or refurbishment into successful holiday lets and acquire apartments through lease or purchase in the most prime locations the city has to offer.

We still consider ourselves a ‘boutique’ business with a philosophy of quality over quantity with the number apartments we take on. We take great care in both design and presentation of our rentals, as well as the services we offer. We have a small and dedicated team who all have approx 10 years experience in hospitality and we only take on renovations projects which capture the spirit and history of Prague while maintaining all the comforts of modern living.

We also provide consultation in all aspects of Prague real estate investment but specialize in the holiday rental sector. We are especially excited about merging property development with tourism. We are passionate about what we do and with approx 700 five star review of our eight Prague properties (8339514, 8460118, 88378 first and second floor, 97558, 1980948, 811267 and 93243) advertised on three platforms, feel we are on our way to achieving our goal of providing the best Prague holiday apartments and services on the market.

We look forward to accommodating you and/or sharing our invaluable experience in what is an fast-moving and dynamic growth industry.

Why Ilan and Veronika Morris chose Malá Strana

This is a truly unique location with front side views of the Charles Bridge and back side views of the Castle. You simply cannot find a better location in Prague.

What makes this apartment unique

The front side views of the Charles Bridge and back side views of the Castle are breath-taking and will give you an experience unmatched by any other Prague apartment.

Perfect location and great apartment

  • 5 of 5

Views from front and back windows are amazing. Very large and comfortable apartment. We were happy there were fans in both rooms as it was warm (hint-turn then on by twisting the circle on the stand- it took us a bit to figure it out). Lots of kitchen supplies and towels. No body wash/soap so be sure to bring your own. Perfect walking location near everything but away from the crowded areas. Felt very safe and we enjoyed the restaurants right near there. Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to friends. The owners were amazing to work with before and during our visit. Very prompt to answer all our questions and even arranged our departure taxi last minute! Thank you for sharing your beautiful apartment with us.

Fantastic location close to everything - but out of the flow of tourist traffic

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely flat in lesser town. The living room is spacious, it's very clean, and it's in the ideal location. We were able to walk everywhere from here. The place is just far enough from the bridge where you can escape the throngs of tourists, but still be close to all of the action. It is close to everything you could want to see - the castle, the Charles bridge, the square, the main beer garden overlooking the city, and more. Our host was extremely easy to communicate with, and arranged our airport transfers and met us at the apartment on time. It's a fantastic, affordable option for a family of 4. The bathroom is not terribly big, and if possible I would recommend bringing your own pillows for the beds, but those little things paled in comparison to the benefits. If you stay in the second floor flat don't forget to look up at the painted ceiling beams.

Location, history, and charm!

  • 5 of 5

What a lovely apartment! We have little to add to the reviews and can second them all! The location is as central as it can possibly be, but manages to be quiet! We slept great every night with windows open.

We were two in this spacious flat. Really appreciated the opportunity to spread out. The communication with the owner was stellar. When we arrived Misa was there to orient us and she was informative and helpful. The flat was super clean, historic yet updated. Good instructions on the house essentials. WiFi great except for the bedroom. Communication with Ilan was spot on fast, any time of day. He arranged our airport pick up and return and it was seamless.

Prague itself can be overrun with tour groups. This flat is the perfect combination of close proximity to must see sights, yet peaceful among the tourist energy.

If you intend to do some cooking which we did, know that there are a number of “mini marts” nearby for the essentials. For more robust shopping needs such as meats, produce and general goods, you will need a larger supermarket. This will require a walk over the King Charles Bridge and a return via the Tram or a Taxi. We did a taxi, and this was affordable and convenient.

Ilan was understanding and gracious when we broke a teapot no problem...!

Perfect location. Wonderful bed. Lovely place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay. Pretty close to metro/tram station. Plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to Prague Castle, Letna Park, Old Town and, of course, Charles Bridge. Prague is such a beautiful city, the Disney-esque appearance and all these gardens, like hidden gems. This apartment is the perfect location to enjoy it from.
