About this property
Gardens surround Tucked Inn with Big Creek below | No Pet Fee, We love pets!
Tucked Inn was built in 2007 and is filled with beautiful mountain antiques for the interiors. There are two fireplaces--one inside in the main room and one on the screen porch. There are gardens, paths, specific seating areas along the way either to the Creek or to the Garden House (with a small fire pit) and upper gardens. There are two bedrooms upstairs, both with Queen beds and in-suite baths. There is one bedroom downstairs with a King bed and bathroom. The screen porch and dining deck overlook the creek with comfortable seating. The hiking, fishing and canoe areas are nearby. There are excellent restaurants in the town of Highlands and also in areas outside of town. The town of Cashiers is located twenty minutes away with views of Whiteside Mountain along the route.

We had a relaxing weekend at Tucked Inn. It is perfect for anyone looking for a special property with lots of character, very cozy and comfortable. We want to come again.
Our family had a relaxing and fun time at Tucked Inn this week…..plenty of firewood for those chilly days & nights, as well as comfy beds and plenty of kitchen pans and utensils to get us through the entire week of cooking & grilling. The grounds were beautiful and our doggies loved walking everyday. We shall return!!
Staying at Tucked Inn cabin felt as if we were staying at a friend's family home in the best way. It was cozy with the fireplaces, wonderful for the kids and our small dog, and the grounds were just phenomenal with the tiered landscape and running river in the backyard. It was hard at times to motivate to go hiking as we loved the surrroundings so much!
We usually stay at Trickledown, but with the sale of that property we stayed the sister property. Everything was just as we expected. We had a fabulous time. I cannot laud the owner, Jane, and the housekeeper, Angie, enough. We will likely return in April.

About the host

We live in Atlanta but I have traveled to Highlands my entire life to stay at my grandfather's summer home. I guess the area is just in my soul now as it acts like a magnet when there is open time. It is a place of activity and peace and joy. We enjoy sharing our property with others.
Why they chose this property
We loved this property immediately upon seeing it. The sound of the creek below is constant and soothing. Gardening is rewarding in Highlands as the climate is conducive for plant growth and gardener comfort as no day is extremely hot. The winters are surprisingly mild most of the time with several periods of snow.
