About this property

A beautiful fully equipped holiday home, built in 2005 and located in an attractive village situated in the south west of the island. Accomodation recently upgraded with modern furniture, comprising 2 + 1 bedrooms, all bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, kitchen and dining room. Children are welcome. We have a cot, high chair etc. All rooms and bedrooms have large glass patio doors with access on to balconies where one can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains, ocean views and sunsets.

They provide a perfect place to relax with a cool glass of wine after enjoying a day out, perhaps on a local levada walk or if you like the idea there is even a paragliding school a mere two minutes from your door.

The price includes all utilities, heated and or air conditioning system on the whole house.There is also Internet access (Wi-Fi) free of charge. Hello

5 Weeks in Madeira

We stayed 5 weeks at this fabulous house wanting for nothing, everything you can want for is available with stunning views . The host Jose is first class with communications etc. I highly recommend this host and her property. We had the perfect stay and will be returning.

Great experience, amazing views.

This house is in a great location with stunning views, through the whole day and night, is very well stocked with everything you could need and more, coffee, tea, condiments, towels, bedding, making it easy to live and settle in here. The heating, cooling/aircon and hot water works perfectly, if you have a car it’s easy to get to, very close to nice beaches and areas, and a good position to explore the rest of the island! Without a car you could still manage - although you will struggle to walk many places, there is a shop at the end of the road, and the taxi driver recommended in the houses guide book, Antonio, is all around brilliant, reliable, charges reasonable amounts and can tell you about many things you wouldn’t find yourself. Overall, we had a great time staying at this house and in this area.

Nothing else is needed to be happy

Beautiful house with amazing view around the clock. Peace and quiet, close to nature. Tasty food in local restaurants, especially in Ponta do Sol. Beautiful and exotic flowers all around. So do fruits and vegetables. Great hiking. Warm ocean. Everything positively. I highly recommend this place.

Relaxing stay guaranteed!

Fantastic place to stay if you want to be close to the nature (plenty of trails in Western/Central Madeira) and services available in Calheta, Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava. Be just aware the car is a must and it's a bit colder than at sea level. On the bright side: zero mosquitoes. House is perfectly clean, well-equipped, quiet, and the views are impressive - even if the weather is not perfect you can admire the clouds, rainbow and sun spectacle happening in front of your terrace and living room, with occasional paragliders passing by. Rosa is a fantastic host, she is a walking encyclopedia of Madeira so do not hesitate to ask if you want to get the most accurate info about the island. Overall: highly recommended.

Amazing view. Very nice house fully equipped.

Wonderful views of ocean, village and mountains from all rooms, facing West. Landlady very helpful and friendly and speaks english well. House has 2 large bedrooms upstairs. 3rd bedroom is small with single bed (we did not use it). Nice, quiet and cozy house very well equipped including A/C units everywhere. Need a car for grocery shopping. Strongly recommend this rental.
