Wonderful time at BushGlam

We had a wonderful time at BushGlam and we were sad to leave for home after the ten-day stay. The house is situated on the quiet edge of the tranquil Hoedspruit. Fine restaurants, nice shops and a little further a Spar supermarket are close by. We’ve found the house exactly as we’d seen on the internet site and it felt like home straight away. All descriptions and photo’s are accurate, so it’s not necessary to repeat this. The folder with house rules and things to do was very useful. We practically used it as a checklist and have done almost everything, never a dull moment and every activity was a great success. Once tired of all the activities we enjoyed the comfort of BushGlam, especially the large pool. The greater area around Hoedspruit is packed with beautiful scenery, wonderful areas to visit and joyful and interesting activities. Off course the safari opportunities are excellent with all the game reserves and parks all around Hoedspruit. We like to go somewhere else on every holiday, but we are not ready with South Africa and the Hoedspruit area yet. BushGlam has been a perfect home base and we certainly would like to return.

Lovely, modern home with a peaceful atmosphere.

BushGlam is exactly as lovely as the photos reveal. The house is decorated in a modern style. The bathrooms are beautifully designed and feel luxurious. Anita was a good host and welcomed us with clear directions and followed up with a personal message to ensure our stay went well. We thoroughly enjoyed the Hat and Creek restaurant nearby and also found the stores to be easy to walk to. Kruger park is about an hour of driving away and it was fantastic! We played games in the quiet evening and enjoyed the pool during the day. The only reason I did not give it five stars is that there were two parts of this home's write up that were misleading. The home lists air conditioning and while there is one unit, it is only upstairs in the master bedroom. I would have liked to have known this detail when booking. It may not have prevented my booking but it felt as though I was misled. We had six people traveling and four of them had to sleep downstairs. It was very warm. There is a screened window that can be opened and fans in both rooms which did help. Obviously it depends on the time of year that you travel but I believe this area is usually on the warm side. Another detail that was listed was a tumble dryer. There was no dryer. There was a washing machine and we were told to hang our laundry outside on the line which again was sufficient but not what was advertised. We also found a laundromat and laundry service up the street at the SPAR which was extremely inexpensive to have your laundry washed and dried and folded. Overall, we enjoyed our peaceful relaxing stay and are very glad we decided to book this house.

Geweldig huis

Het huis is gemakkelijk te bereiken en ligt kort bij verschillende winkelcentra en restaurants van Hoedspruit. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep heel vlot.Het onthaal door Elza was erg vriendelijk en warm. Vragen en bezorgdheden werden ter harte genomen. Het huis ligt in een rustige straat, maar toch was er 's nachts en 's morgensvroeg vaak lawaai te horen van de nabijgelegen hoofdbaan. Het huis is erg ruim, licht, modern en luxueus ingericht. De keuken biedt alles wat je nodig hebt. De ruime douches en het mooie bad zijn geweldig. Alles was kraaknet. De tuin is een perfecte plaats om te ontspannen na een actieve dag. Het is zeker een aanrader

Hoedspruit house Bushglam

Tis is a beautiful home and very very clean., and well kept inside and out We had everything we needed. . Our stay there was perfect. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay around Kruger Park. The little town also is delightful. I would give our stay a five stars rating.
