Villa with Spectacular Sea Views in Benalmadena Pueblo, Costa del Sol, Spain

Casa Azura is a beautiful detached villa with a well maintained private garden and a private pool (which can be heated for an additional cost) with sun loungers. The villa has spectacular panoramic sea views especially from the first floor terrace. It is set in a tranquil, peaceful location in a small cul-de-sac halfway between Benalmadena Pueblo and the coast, yet within easy reach of Puerto Marina and Fuengirola, both with their vibrant night-life and numerous restaurants. In the Pueblo you will find the nearest bars, restaurants and shops.

This is a great place to holiday on the Costa del Sol. It is ideally situated close to Malaga Airport. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and also a guest toilet. There is a fabulous games room for the kids and adults to enjoy, with pool table, PS3 to play on the 42'' wall mounted TV, there is Wifi and also a computer connected to the internet.

You enter into the villa by the first floor via 2 steps. The first floor is composed of an entrance hallway; guest toilet; dining room; kitchen with access to terrace; lounge with access to terrace; and stairs to the ground floor. The ground floor is composed of the main hallway; 4 bedrooms (master with access to garden); 3 bathrooms; games room with access to garden; and utility room. There is a stairway at the side of the villa to the garden.

In the private garden there is a great outdoor area with built in BBQ that uses traditional coals, all utensils are provided for the BBQ and we have a wonderful large table able to seat 9 people for your alfresco dining.

Smoking inside the villa is not permitted. A cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Air-condition is available, hot/cold which is metered, and Internet access/WiFi is free unlimited access (we have a fair use policy with our provider). The villa underwent a complete refurbishment which was completed in May 2012 and included the installation of the private heated pool.

The perfect family getaway

We spent a fantastic week at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed every bit. The villa is spacious, well equipped and decorated to a good standard, f the games room for the young at heart made it the perfect family getaway. The pool area and gardens are superb and well maintained and the ideal place to relax and unwind with a glass of wine or two ! The swimming pool is the ideal place to cool off from the heat.

A car is essential to explore the area. There are some fantastic restaurants in the area.

We were in touch with Jane the property manager throughout our stay, and she was available to answer any queries or questions we had.

All in all a fantastic villa we will definitely return.

Good quality property with stunning views

The villa is exactly as described on the website which is always good!

The owner was very helpful and always responded promptly to any questions.

I would advise hiring a car due to the lack of amenities within a reasonable walking distance.

The gardens are well maintained and add to the feeling that everything is of good quality.

My only concern is how noisy the area may be in peak season as there are a lot of villas surrounding the property, but that is pure supposition, as we visited in mid September!

Beautiful villa car essential aircon is extra

Such a beautiful ammuculate villa with stunning views. Our stay at Casa Azura was brilliant the home catered for everyone in our party of 9 the kiddies loved both the large pool the pool table and all the games. Its Convenient the villa has 2 fridges as it was proving tiring climbing the stairs if you wanted something from the top fridge. Unfortunatly not having a car proved extremely difficult for our party even though we do like to walk as even taken the bin out would result in walking for 30 minutes in sweltering heat as the bin is so far away. The beach front took as over a hour to walk to. Aircon was hard to budget on and at 1 euro a hour it does mount up and it seemed we didnt have many spare euros to use especially when we first arrived. however we mainly used it at night as during the day the kitchen doesnt benefit from it as there is no aircon in the dining room and kitchen. Peublo is a beautiful Local village i highly recommend visiting loads of restuarants and lovely people. We particularly enjoyed our boat ride at the marina and all the bargains we got at Fengrirolla market. This was our second visit to Benalmadena theres so much to do many thanks David and family

Great place to stay

We rented for one week for our wedding and had family staying with us, the place it's self can be a bit tricky to find at first as the roads are narrow and twisty. The taxi service was very good arrived within a few minutes of booking, expect to pay 10-15 euro one way to Benalmadena there are different rates for day and night. The AC is on a meter, the villa it's self was very good with some great views of the med in a quiet location. The owner David was a pleasure to deal with we had a number of emails to each other before our visit and he was very helpful, if your hiring a car I would suggest one with some power as some of the roads are quite steep. Overall we had a great week staying at the villa, 5 stars great value if you book for 9 people.

The Perfect Villa

We first visited Casa Azura in 2013 and returned this year to find it just as brilliant as it was before. It is a well designed villa with outstanding facilities and is very well managed locally. It is spotlessly clean and the fixtures, fittings and contents are to a very high standard. We had a great holiday and were relaxed within a couple of hours of arriving. Great view, superb balcony and excellent pool and BBQ. Car hire needed but local taxi service is reliable and good value. There are 2 excellent restaurants in the Pueblo.

Everything it promises.

We've just arrived home after a fabulous family holiday. We are three generations, ranging from 7years up to us wrinkleys. We really enjoyed ourselves and your villa was fabulous. It had everything we needed and is really modern which is how we like to live. It's spotless clean and large enough for us not to be falling over each other, its situation is perfect for everywhere you need to go. A hire car is needed but saying that the local taxi service is ideal . We would not hesitate to tell anyone about your villa as we know no one would be disappointed with it.

Location

It is in the perfect location: close to the airport, close to all amenities, and with outstanding views. It is a great base and great place to stay.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 20 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach: The villa is ideally set within easy reach of a number of beaches, the nearest being a 5 minute drive by car. There are further beach resorts all along the coast line, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Cabopino, Marbella and of course the renowned Marina at Puerto Banus.

Travel: The villa is easily reached via taxi or car from Malaga Airport which is a 20 minute drive. Car hire is recommended. Taxis here are very reasonably priced.

Distances: Distance to the Pueblo and the beach is approximately 1.5km. Both the mountain village of Mijas and the resort of Fuengirola are approximately 5km away, Malaga Airport is 20km away and Marbella is 35km away.

Further Details: The old Spanish village of Benalmadena Pueblo still retains its old world charm with many tapas bars, restaurants, a supermarket, banks, chemist, hairdressers, bakery and newsagents or you could just stroll through the whitewashed streets and wander around the village church. This is the real Spain and probably one of the best locations on the Costa del Sol to enjoy a peaceful and tranquil holiday but within easy reach of all the other holiday facilities which include Tivoli World, cable car, horse riding, aquarium sea life, Selwo Marina, snake farm, and Aquaparks at Torremolinos and Fuengirola. Puerto Marina is best known for its nautical sports facilities and cruises, and is open to everyone to visit during the day, with plenty of restaurants and night-life.

Changeover Day:
We are flexible with change over days except June, July and August when we have a Saturday changeover. Check in is after 4pm and check out time is by 10am. Where possible, we can be flexible with arrival times and departure times but there may be an additional charge for either early or late checkin, and late departure times.

Pool Heating is available for an additional cost of £140 per week.

The aircon is metered at a rate of €1 for one hours use of all units. The units are not individually metered. There is a stop/pause facility on the meter which allows you to pause the aircon and use the remaining time left on the meter when next required. There are 6 units in the villa: one in the lounge, one in the gamesroom, and one in each of the four bedrooms.

A returnable security deposit of £350 is required which is returned to you within 14 days after your departure date.

Discounts can be given for longer than 2 week bookings out of season and can also be given for smaller groups out of season. Prices for Christmas and out of season school holidays are not increased above what is quoted.

Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly but we ask you to bring pool/beach towels. End of stay cleaning is included in the price. Additional cleaning/maid can be provided at a very reasonable rate.
