Cosy apartment with original flat and windows of 100 years ago, comfortable and spacious, ideal for groups of friends or families. It has a spacious and bright room with three single beds and view on the street for Colosseum and a comfortable double bedroom; the living room has LCD televisions with satellite channels and a sofa; the kitchen has a table for 5 people, is fully equipped with fridge, oven, microwave and LCD televisions with satellite channels..

The apartment is in a historic building located in the heart of ancient Rome, in front of the picturesque park of Trajan, with fantastic view of the Colosseum and the Fori Imperiali, in a unique position to enjoy the romantic and ancient Rome. Numerous local restaurants and cafes' in the neighborhood; bus and subway to 300 meters allow guests to easily reach any place in Rome. By walk is possible to reach the Colosseum, Roman Forum, the Capitol, the Basilica San Giovanni, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Campo de 'Fiori, Isola Tiberina, Trastevere, Bocca della Verità. At 50 meters from the 'flat there is the public Park of Trajan with the possibility to spend pleasant leisure time sitting on a bench looking at the Colosseum;also in the park there is a children's playground and a public café.

Great location near the colosseum

The property was spacious and clean. It had almost everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We were missing a kettle, but were able to make do with the gas hob to heat up water. The host was very hospitable. He met us at the apartment and gave us full instructions on how to open the doors, windows etc. He also allowed us to leave our luggage at the apartment for a few hours after checking out. This was much appreciated. The only downside was the mattress and pillow quality. We didn’t sleep too well due to the discomfort: flat and lumpy. But all that said we would definitely go back and stay, because the location and everything else was perfect! Thank you Enzo.

Huge historic flat next to park

Family of 4 (2 adult sons) stayed at this flat in Rome for a week. The flat is large for a 2 bedroom, with a large kitchen/ breakfast room, hallway, living room and so forth. It is at the top of a park with the Colosseum/Forum at the bottom and close to shops, restaurants, cafes and bus routes, as well as about 20 minutes walk to train station. Enzo gave a really good brief en route from airport (we arranged for him to pick us up) and at the flat, which was great with ideas on places to go (the Sicilian cafe at the bottom of the hill was our favourite), supermarkets (there are 2 in 5 minutes walk)etc. He was also at the end of the phone whenever anything was needed. The only not so good points were a slow internet which seemed to be limited to 3 connections (apparently due to poor signal in the old building) and lack of air conditioning- normally would not have been a problem but we had a major heatwave with temperatures reaching 39 centigrade! Even so flat was just hot not impossible, so I'm sure it would be fine as a rule. Otherwise very well equipped, great location, comfortable, would certainly stay again.

CHARMING SPACIOUS APARTMENT, EXCELLENT LOCATION

Situated in the centre of Rome, all places of interest are within walking distance. The apartment was like being at home with a spacious kitchen, good sized bedrooms and bathroom. There was even a washing machine and iron provided. Enzo and his son Vieri even agreed to pick us up from the airport and take us back for a reasonable fee. Very friendly and English was not a problem. Definitely made the holiday. Wouldn't hesitate in using their apartment again in the future.

Fantastic Central Location. Clean & Spacious

Fantastic location; if you are fit a healthy this apartment is absolutely ideal for waking to any part of central Rome. The apartment was clean, spacious with everything required for our stay. Kitchen was well appointed, so self-catering was not a problem. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom met our needs perfectly. Washing machine and iron were also provided. Enzo and his son Vieri were the perfect hosts. Vieri's English was excellent so if booking this apartment, don't worry about any possible language barrier. I’d definitely stay here again without a second thought.
