A peaceful rural getaway
Four of us had a great holiday in this beautiful property. We particularly enjoyed eating breakfast and supper outside in the garden, borrowing the bicycles to explore the nearby lanes, playing boules and table tennis in the garden. Inside, once we mastered the quirky lighting in the dining room, and worked out how to boil water for tea (yes, we're English, it's essential, though we loved the coffee machine), we had fun playing table football and Monopoly while sampling the massive CD collection. My sons are tall, and soon learned to stoop and stay close to the wall walking along the upstairs corridor; the baby's room was huge - mattresses in there were a perfect bed for my teenage daughter. The other bedrooms were great; I'm envious of the motion sensor corridor lighting.
I'd definitely recommend staying here as a relaxing break and an opportunity to explore the Alabaster Coast.
