I had a wonderful, restful time...
The apartment is very centrally located in Saint-Jean-de-Luz: it is only a short walk to the market hall and the street market, to a Carrefour City, to a Monop' or to a very good baker (rue Louis-Fortuné Loquin). Despite this central location, the apartment is quiet: The neighboring buildings are residential buildings and, above all, a school (no bars, street cafés or other noisy commercial uses).
The apartment is very tastefully and practically furnished. As a guest you have enough space to store your clothes and other personal belongings.
I stayed there in March, so I still had to heat up, which was no problem. You can control the heating individually according to your needs.
The kitchen is spacious and has a table. Like in almost every French holiday flat, all knives were blunt. Moreover, there was not a single knife that had a sufficiently long blade to cut a roast professionally, for example. It is best to take two of your favourite knives from home.
Despite the many restaurants it is worthwhile to cook by oneself from time to time: Fish, poultry, meat, cheese, vegetables, regional wine or as already mentioned bread is available in extraordinary quality. Fantastic.
Thanks to the central location of the apartment you don't need a car. The train station is about 10 minutes walking distance, the sea promenade and a beach 2 minutes walking distance.
