Cottage in Windermere, Lake District, Cumbria-Everything You Need 😁👍

Gamekeepers Retreat is ideal if you would like to escape for a break away, to relax, walk,romantic, celebrate or enjoy all the outdoor activities we have to offer all around us here in the heart of Windermere.
There is private parking outside your door at the top of the driveway,free WiFi also.
I also have 2 other cottages which sleep 2 and 4 people and are all at same location literally 1 minute walk to the shops bars and cafes.
Built in the 18th century, the building was an original coach house.

Our 2nd stay

Both my Wife and I did not hesitate to stay here for New Year, as we had enjoyed our stay, months before. The room is cosy and warm, along with the fitted kitchen and smart TV...not to mention the very comfortable bed and ensuite, this Cottage fully met our needs and expectations. Highly recommended 10/10

All you need for your stay

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, the cottage is very clean and tidy, with a good deal of thought, regards kitchen equipment and utensils to make your own meals. The bed is sooo comfortable, just perfect for a good night's sleep 10/10 The location, you won't find any better for a very short walk into town, which was brilliant. It's so good, we're already booked for another stay here...thankyou James, Kind regards Michael & Jo

Lovely Cosy Cottage

Such a great few days staying in this lovely cottage. Private parking outside the door. It's conveniently situated for exploring the area, Orrest Head, School Knott, Brantfell etc . It's also close to the town with shops, cafes and restaurant's as well as jbeing just a short walk down to the Lake. Definitely recommend this cottage for two.
