It is within easy reach of Dublin International Airport, Dublin Port and Rosslare Harbour, a perfect location for an active family holiday or quiet get away. The area encompasses some of the most beautiful scenery in Ireland and is also a good base to tour the east coast extensively. There are many activities within easy reach, such as hill walking in the Wicklow mountains, horse riding, golfing and many historic sites to visit such as Powerscourt Estate, Glendalough, Avondale House (the birthplace of Parnell), Wicklow head and Avoca otherwise known as Ballykissangel. The area also includes miles of unspoiled sandy beaches which are ideal for swimming (with life guards on duty during the holiday months). Brittas Bay is one of the finest beaches on the east coast, a 3 mile stretch of white sand dunes and golden sands This popular location has something to offer all the family.
