Spacious, family 3 bedroom duplex - only 50m from the ski slopes

A comfortable & spacious duplex situated only 50 metres from the cable car in the heart of the St Jean d'Aulps Station (La Grand Terche), where you can relax and put your feet up after a full day on the slopes. The apartment is situated on the third and top floor of the building and offers views over the village and slopes.

The lounge/dining room has direct access to a large, private balcony. Within the lounge, there is a large L-shaped sofa to relax on while watching TV, reading a book or relaxing.

The fully equipped kitchen includes modern appliances and leads you into a relatively large lounge/dining room which has direct access to a private balcony.

There are 3 bedrooms:
* Master bedroom (very spacious) - King-size bed plus bunk beds.
* Second bedroom (spacious) - Double bed plus bunk beds.
* Third bedroom - Double bed and is the smallest of the three bedrooms.
All rooms have bedside tables and chest of drawers.

Main Bathroom - toilet, bath and separate large shower:
The newly refurbished main bathroom has a bath where you can soak away those bumps and bruises from the days adventures! Hot water is unlimited (water pressure is very good), a hair dryer is provided and a heated towel rail helps dry off damp clothes. There is also a washing machine and dryer available for use.

Downstairs Bathroom - toilet & shower

We have a large, private 'cave'/ski locker in the basement to store skis, snowboards, boots, bikes etc. Within the apartment block we have outside parking and there is also a private garage space which can be used on request.

So good!
Spacious apartment with plenty of room to relax after a day of skiing. Lovely big sofa, on which we could lounge comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped. Super comfortable double beds. Great family bathroom with a decent sized shower and the added bonus of another shower room. If conditions are good you wouldn’t need to leave La Grande Terche but it is a great base to explore what the rest of the Portes Du Soleil has to offer. We loved our stay!

Kids first ski trip!
Amazing place, so close to the ski lift - this made it so easy with two 9/10 year olds to get to ski school on time etc. Hired our ski's etc from Muffat Sports which also allowed us to leave them there after each day on the slopes, so easy and time saving. The apartment has a lovely mountain view, so cosy and comfortable - beds/sofa and gorgeous bathroom/shower upstairs. Just the right items in the kitchen and appliances, useful pointers found in a black folder for using the cooker etc. We loved it and will be back in the future. Many thanks for all the communications with the owners - very easy to communicate with. 10/10 holiday... thank you!

Perfect apartment
We adored staying in this mountainside apartment. There was ample space for my husband and I plus our three children 15, 11 and 9. It can easily accompany 10. Location was fabulous with enough going on near-by including a little mules et frites event. Locale parking was easily accessible and free. One useful piece of information would be the location of the apartment in the block, it was tricky to find as units S and D are intertwined. But once we’d had a good look around we did locate the place. All in all highly recommended

Why they chose this property

We have being skiing in La Grande Terche since 2004 and when it came to buying a home this was our first choice, nowhere else could offer us the same possibilities as here.

We finally found the perfect apartment for us; light, airy and plenty of space. They say you know you have found the perfect home when you first walk in and this was definitely true for us.

And instead of the apartment sitting empty throughout the ski year, we have decided to rent it out so others can experience some of the same magic and joy!
