A Nerja villa rental is a great way to enjoy this popular resort. Nerja is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de Tejeda mountain range. The focal point of the town is the magnificent marble-paved promenade, Le Balcón de Europa, which protrudes on a rocky outcrop between two bays. It is a very pleasant area to stroll around in the evening to take in the many stunning views, the street entertainers and to sample the irresistible local ice cream. A tour round the town can be taken in an open buggy, a favourite with children and parents alike. There are a number of superb Blue flag beaches and rocky coves to explore in Nerja. One of the most popular being the ‘Burriana Playa’ with its gently sloping golden sand, beachfront bars and numerous restaurants, many of which specialise in fresh fish and see food cooked over charcoal.
