The B&B Lo Sfizio was born in 2011 and is located in the heart of Cupramontana exactly in vicolo Leoni n. 3 in the famous eighteenth-century building built by Mattia Capponi.
The apartment has two bedrooms for double use with the possibility of a third additional bed in both rooms. The apartment does not require air conditioning as the environment remains cool in summer thanks to its structure made of stone and brick. The living room is perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and you can rest in front of the fireplace reading a good book or take advantage of the comforts offered by the structure with flat screen TV and WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, cutlery, refrigerator with a small freezer, microwave, oven and hob to allow you to cook your favorite dishes.
It is however possible to book lunch or dinner. The house has a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and sheets and towels are included in the cost of renting the house.
Its structure with vaulted ceilings is suggestive.
Adjacent to the entrance of the B&B is the International Label Museum born from an idea of the art critic, prof. Armando Ginesi in 1987 where you can admire the collection of 60,000 local and international wine labels with visual oenological documentation from all over the world.
Famous is the "Verdicchio" wine and the oil produced by our local vineyards and olive groves that you can taste with typical Marche dishes.

Cupramontana
Probably founded in the VI_V centuries a. c., got its name from a temple that once stood dedicated to the goddess Cupra.
Devastated during the Gothic war, it was abandoned.
Its ruins were later used for the construction of a fortified place, then a castle, which arose a short distance away, in a higher place and which was given the name Massaccio, (mass of Accio).
In 1747 it was recognized near the Massaccio, the place where the ancient Cupramontana once stood: this was possible with the correct reading of a plaque found in 1718 in the archaeological area.
In 1861 Vittorio Emanuele II, just the desire expressed by the City Council in the session of 9. 11. 1861, granted, with Royal Decree, to Massaccio to regain its ancient name of Cupramontana
Event
The biggest regional event to be missed is the Grape Festival of Cupramontana which takes place on the first Sunday of October and the previous 3 days with a program truly for everyone from young to old.
On the occasion of the Grape Festival, a gastronomic event with typical Marche dishes and music, in which internationally renowned artists are called which will take place in the week of the first Sunday of October. The apartment is rented only to a group of 6 people for the period from 30/09/19 to 9/10/19.
The apartment is about 75 square meters and is at your complete disposal.
With an independent entrance you can enjoy the living area for your relaxation.

On Saturday morning you can join the group of runners "Cupra in walk" to discover unique landscapes !!!
Cupramontana is located 505 meters above sea level and is 25 minutes from both the Ancona-Falconara airport and the Ancona Nord A 14 motorway exit. At 50 minutes by road you will find the beautiful Conero with Portonovo-Sirolo- Numana with beaches and transparent waters.
At 40 minutes Senigallia the famous "velvet beach" full of restaurants by the sea and shops where you can go shopping, 35 minutes from the suggestive Frasassi Caves in Genga. Just 10 minutes from B&B Lo Sfizio you can spend a beautiful day at the Eldorado in Apiro water park with many swimming pools, relaxation areas, entertainment for your children and the longest slide in Europe. You can also visit the Castriccione dam, the Abbey of Sant'Urban, monasteries such as the White Friars and the Black Friars and Jesi, a city rich in culture. Cupramontana is the first town of the castles of Jesi where the famous "Verdicchio" wine is produced;
you can then visit wineries of producers and buy their wines directly. Finally, a few steps from the B&B you can find the International Museum of Wine Labels.
