Crigg Cottage (sleeps 6) is really quirky and quaint. It is an old and traditional former farm worker's cottage that oozes character. Our farm is on the clifftops between the two golden sandy beaches of Porthcothan Bay and Treyarnon Bay.

We are a short walk across 3 fields will take you directly to the coastal path. Padstow is a 10 minute drive away, or there is the little village of St Merryn a 5 minute drive. We may be biased but we think we live in the most beautiful and tranquil part Cornwall has to offer.
The cottage was 2 up 2 down with an outside loo/ cold water pump in the garden. We are pleased to report it is now a modern home, although it has retained its cottage style charm. Downstairs the kitchen has beautiful granite worktops, and traditional slate floors and leads out to the garden. Off the kitchen is a ‘snug style’ solid oak fitted dining room. Downstairs is split level. Up 2 steps is a wet room (with walk-in shower, loo and basin), and separate utility room leading from the outside off road car parking area - perfect for coming in straight off the beach. There is a cosy sitting room with super soft and squashy L-shaped sofa and log burner. The beams downstairs are low, so tall persons will need to take care.
Upstairs is light and airy, with pitched ceilings and open beams. There are 2 double bedrooms (1 is ‘compact and bijoux'), plus 1 twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with basin, loo, bath, and handheld shower. The stairs are narrow and steep - typical cottage style.
The house is semi-detached (granny lives next door) and has its own large garden with BBQ/ patio/ lawn/ picnic table. It is walled and gated, so perfect for dogs. At the rear there is off-road parking sufficient for 2 or 3 cars.
