About this property

Welcome to The Farmhouse! The house (circa 1944) has been restored, and showcases all the original charm, with all the modern amenities. The Farmhouse sits on one acre, and is surrounded by peach orchards, and vineyards. It is located on the outskirts of Old Town, Niagara-on-the-Lake. A short distance to it all! Theater, wineries, breweries, biking trails and parks. We are a walking distance to The Saturday Farmer's Market, at the Village, and Wednesday evenings SupperMarket (May to October). Come and experience the beautiful Niagara region from the convenience of a holiday house.

The Farmhouse was a working peach farm for many years. It is a storey and a half, offering plenty of living space for a comfortable vacation, with extended family, or friends. There is a living room (with pull out double bed), separate dining room, full kitchen with an eating area, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, with one queen bed, one double bed and two twin beds and a bathroom with a bathtub, for baths. On the main floor there is a three piece bathroom, with shower stall, for showers. It is furnished, with everything you should need The kitchen is south facing, sunny, and fully equipped for cooking meals.

Should there be a rainy day, there are DVDs, books, puzzles and board games. We offer WiFi, and our blu-ray players can stream your favourite shows. Licensed cottage rental #027-2024.

Family members have allergies. We regret we are unable to host service animals due to health and safety. We appreciate your understanding.

2019 stay

Ideal property for our stay in Niagara on the Lake. With two autistic kids, we needed somewhere that afforded a little privacy away from the popular areas of Niagara on the Lake and Lara's property was the ideal combination of privacy and locality. The property was well equipped with everything that we needed, including for us, the very neccessary internet and wifi provisions. All in all, the property was everything we hoped for and more, highly recommended if you need that little bit of privacy and situated just outside the popular areas, that made traveling easy to both Niagara on the Lake and the popular Niagara falls.

Beautiful farm house in a fantastic location!

This property is simply amazing - so thoughtfully finished and comfortable. Impeccably clean - it is apparent that Lara has put ALOT of effort into the house. Comfortable and with everything you could possibly need for your holiday - we felt really welcome and really well cared for. So quiet too. The perfect base for a visit to the Niagra area. There is simply nothing that you could say about this property that isn't positive. Lara is a very helpful and attentive host. Thank you so much.

Gorgeous house and so comfortable!

The pictures don't do this property justice, it is simply beautiful. The restoration has not only kept some really lovely features but also given it a modern feel. The decor is fantastic and it is such a comfortable home. We loved the location as it is so close to the town centre yet far enough away that you have total privacy. My children loved playing in the garden and we all really enjoyed the food trucks coming to the field at the end of the road on a Wednesday night. The house is fully equipped with DVD's and virtually everything you could need in a kitchen so it's a pleasure to cook in. Lara has been a delight to deal with and was very prompt with any queries. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!!

Just perfect!

The Farmhouse is an amazing property in a stunning region, having a car is a must to explore the wineries around, the Ontario lake and Niagara river with falls and the hystoric town nearby. The house is in a very quiet and relaxing spot between vineyards and apple trees, very comfortable and spacious inside and with all the amenities you would find in your own home. I wish we could have stayed much longer, it was the perfect setting for a relaxing end of our holidays! Thanks Lara!

Why they chose this property

We were attracted to this property because of it's proximity to Old Town. Not too many places are in the country, yet a short walking distance to wineries, breweries, restaurants, and the summer Farmers Market.

What makes this property unique

Come and enjoy views of the orchards and vineyards, at almost every window from this home. For those that want to explore the region, Queen Street, Old Town Niagara on the Lake is a short three minute drive, Niagara Falls is fifteen minutes away.
