The apartment consists of a doubled bedroom equipped with:

1) a double bed, a wardrobe, and a flat screen TV.

2) a living room with 2 double sofa beds and a flat screen TV.

The kitchen area has full kitchen facilities: fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker, grill, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cutlery, cups, glasses and coffee maker.

WESTFIELD : UNIQUE TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: This is a must see : Europe’s largest shopping centre: Westfield Stratford city, features more than 300 shops, 70 restaurants, a 14-screen cinema, 3 hotels and Britain’s largest casino. Fashion, food , leisure community, and kids are all there.

TRANSPORT: Going to the city:

Main underground stations: Stratford, Leyton, Leytonstone.

Main overground stations: Stratford, Maryland, Leytonstone high road, Wanstead Park and Forest Gate.

Airports:

From Stanstead airport you can take bus a9 to Stratford (45 mins)

From Heathrow take the underground to Stratford or Leyton

From Gatwick , take the train to London Bridge and the underground to Stratford.

From Luton , take the train to London , then the underground to Stratford or Leyton.

Car:

If you are driving, there is a free off street parking at the apartment.

HomeAway needs to definitely reconsider this one !

This listing is terribly misrepresented. We have rented several HomeAway properties and have been extremely pleased with them ...until now. The listing states that the apartment is classy and that is not an accurate description. The place was filthy. So much so that my family didn't even want to take their shoes off to walk around. I think the owner should reconsider charging a cleaning fee because, maybe that way, people will take consideration and actually keep it clean. There was expired food in the refrigerator and the walls were just as dirty as the floors. All in all, this place is run down. It is located in a less than desirable part of town and my family and I did not feel safe walking around after dark. The listing also makes it sound like it is conveniently located and that is simply incorrect. We had to ride on one train after another to even get to any of London's top spots. We spent most of our time on trains during our visit and that is not what we had expected for our first visit to London. We had to leave one night early because the trains did not run early enough to insure that we could make it to the airport in time for our early return flight and the owner would not refund our money and could only suggest that we take a taxi. This was an unfortunate experience for my family and I can only hope that it doesn't happen to someone else's family.

Owner's Response: 1. I have 5 apartments there. I showd her the one she booked , I also showed her another one on the second floor. I did not have to do that but some time I like to show mys guests anything that is available if they would like to choose something different, that is fine by me. So She decided to go for the one on the second floor.2. She booked for 3 nights stay and on the second day she sent me an email asking me for refund for the 3rd night . This because on her last day she could not get public transport early in the morning so she would like to leave one day early.3. I told her I can't refund for such an early termination and I offered to get her a cheap taxi to take all 5 of them. 4. I had no reply to the email.5. Now she decided to write a review with all the various points. I decided to refund her the money anyway. 6. I was very friendlly with her and if anything wrong I would expect her to have a franc and porfessional direct communication with me. Everything in the apartment is new, from the kitchen to the bathroom and to the bedroom.This apartment was clean at her arrival .I went back to the apartment I did not see any evidence of food or expired food in the fridge.9. She said the apartment is located in a less desirable part of London. Well this apartment is located in E11 3NU , in zone 3, close to the the olympics which is in E15 in zone 3 also.10. You can take the tube either from, Leyton, Leytonstone, or Stratford to go to Central London. Within 15 mins you can reach Liverpool street . Alternatively There is Leytonstone Overground about 10 mins walk from the apartment. East London is relatively cheaper than the rest of London. 11. Well , if the world is coming to play Olympics in this area, that means the area is well connected.12. I sent her the address of the place and she came by herself. Wouldn't a little exerice on google map help her to find out about where she was going and especially how far the place is from all the spots she would like to visit?13. This review has one sole objective: Negativity, destruction and damage because I intially refused to refund her. When using public transport, sometimes you have to change trains or undergrounds. It essential to know in advance what transport exist at what time when going to the airport.
