Duck Cottage is a traditional stone built cottage, internally modernised and tastefully decorated to create a warm, charming base close to the restaurants, pubs, shops and attractions of Anstruther. St Andrews and the other coastal villages are only a few minutes drive, with Edinburgh just over an hour away by car. Ideal for couples seeking a romantic hideaway, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, families looking for a rural retreat, and golfers looking to mark their cards at any one of the many premier courses, including the famous Old Course at St Andrews.

The cottage caters for the occasional Scottish rainy day as well, with free Wifi, an extensive music, film and literary library available to fill the odd moment, and a large HD TV with Freeview HD channels. A well equipped kitchen encourages gourmets to experiment with the wonderful local produce. A weeks stay

Lovely comfortable cottage and very well maintained weather was kind so managed some fabulous coastal walks and saw an abundance of different birds . Admired all the recycling bins as not many places do that and it is something I am passionate about . Loved all the travelling books as now planning my next adventure . Thank you from Sally and Daisy (dog!)

Kilrenny is very quiet too, meaning you have a proper break away from it all, interrupted perhaps only by the Kirk's bell chiming on the hour - not through the night though!
