Luxurious 98 sq.m 2 bedroom apartment ideally situated in the heart of Alvor. The apartment enjoys wonderful views over the estuary, surrounding countryside and mountains in the distance. Decorated and furnished to the highest standards the apartment consists of 2 air conditioned / heated double bedrooms with balconies and 2 modern, fully tiled bathrooms consisting of separate shower and bath

The large air conditioned / heated open plan lounge and dining area provides free wi-fi, plenty of space to relax and watch satellite TV (including Sky and BT Sports), listen to music on the i-pod docking station or alternatively take advantage of the large upstairs private terrace to enjoy stunning views over Alvor whilst cooking on the purpose built brick BBQ. The modern kitchen consists of fridge freezer, electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are 2 reserved underground parking spaces with a huge store room, lift and video entry system. Our apartment has the Alojamento local (rental licence)

We can easily arrange reliable airport transfers.

The new Pingo Doce supermarket is well stocked and is only 2 minute walk away.

For long term winter lets we are happy to discuss favourable rental rates.

A cot is available on request.

We had a great time in Alvor which we were re-visiting after our first visit there 24 years ago. Your apartment is lovely and deserves the 'luxury' tag. We loved the tranquility Solrio offers, the roof terrace was great for relaxing and reading and the complex was in a great location beside the village and the walk to the beach is very leisurely. We also liked the fact that it is a small and private complex and your apartment is also very well equipped and very tastefully decorated. We would be very happy to recommend your apartment and would also consider returning if you were agreeable.

stunning accommodation in fab location

This was our first time to Alvor having always stayed central algarve and we were not disappointed. This accommodation is everything it Claims to be and more. Everything right down to the cutlery is the best of quality with its very central location being the icing on the cake. It was also a lovely touch to have welcoming wine on arrival!! Much appreciated. I'm only sorry we can't return next year due to other plans, but we are now booked for 2018 and cannot wait. Thankyou Mandy for everything.

Lovely holiday apartment

This is a fabulous apartment, everything we could possibly want was provided and the rooftop terrace was the icing on the cake. Lovely views and a few minutes walk to the "hub" of restaurants, bars and the beach.

Neil was very helpful and welcoming and the welcome pack was much appreciated

Excellent apartment

The apartment met and exceeded our needs and expectations! Very clean and homely, we had a great week staying at Solrio. The roof top terrace has beautiful views - very peaceful and yet only a minute from the centre of Alvor.

We've stayed in Alvor many times and this was by far the best apartment we've come across - we will be back!

Thank you so much Mark and Mandy, you made our son's first trip abroad a great one! (As did your lovely property management team!)

Stunning apartment, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with you could possibly need. Lovely views over the countryside and only a few minutes walk into town. We had a lovely holiday despite changeable weather and will definitely come again.

Our first time in Portugal and what better place to stay than at this lovely modern apartment. It was so spacious and easily accommodated 4 people. The nearness of all the lovely restaurants and supermarket was a definite bonus

The weather was quite mixed whilst we were there but we still managed to have a couple of BBQs on the spacious roof terrace and even when it rained it was warm enough to sit out on the covered balcony with the views of the estuary. Mandy and Mark have thought of everything down to umbrellas and DVDs/ books (which we only discovered towards the end of the holiday). Although this was our first visit to Solrio it wont be our last. Thanks Mandy and Mark for everything.

this apartment is even better than it looks on the site. Spacious spotless, comfortable. Three terraces (one of them a roof terrace with BBQ) furnished to a very high standard.The owners Mandy and Mark have thought of everything holiday makers could need and nothing was too much trouble for them. lovely communal pool with sunbeds for everyone. 3 minutes walk to centre of town 10 minutes walk to soft sandy beach. Plenty of lovely bars and places to eat great food and good value. This is a gem of a place and my memories of it will get me through the winter until I return next year.

Nearest Airport : Faro at 75 Kilometres Nearest Train : Portimao at 10 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Alvor at 800 Metres Car: not necessary

Alvor is a beautifully quaint and traditional fishing village that has retained all it's natural charm whilst catering for holidaymakers with numerous friendly bars and restaurants that are only a 2 minute stroll away from the apartment. Only a 10 minute walk away you will enjoy Alvor's award winning 3 mile stretch of golden sand. If you enjoy a round of golf the area is awash with great quality golf courses to suit all budgets and abilities such as Penina (Championship course within a 5 minute drive) as well as Alto, Parque da Floresta, Salgados, Millenium, Gramacho, Quinta De Morgado & Palamares all within a short drive. The new Portimao Racetrack with it's exciting (and well priced karting track) is a must for adrenaline junkies! There are plenty of excursions and trips to keep you occupied such as water parks, marine zoo, jeep safari into the Monchique Mountains, deep sea fishing, boat trips to explore the caves or dolphin watching from Lagos or Portimao.
