This luxuriously appointed villa lazes in large mature gardens amongst swaying palms in the elegant exclusive location of Tosalet in Javea. Its typically Spanish appearance belies its modern interior comprising spacious lounge with seating for 8 with feature arched window allowing an uninterrupted breathtaking view of the Montgo Mountain. TV with Sky and DVD and Wifi. Separate dining room opening onto a sun terrace and BBQ area with table and seating for 8. Modern fully equipped kitchen, utility room and 4 spacious en suite bedrooms (2 king size rooms and 2 twin bedded rooms) all with air-conditioning. Full central heating. Outside the extensive covered terrace (7m x 4m) with beautiful cane furniture and further table and chairs (seating 8) leads onto the open sun terrace (10m x 5m) overlooking the 10x5 metre pool specially designed to the contours of the garden , further terracing and solar shower. 8 sun loungers and tables and umbrellas. Both the covered and open terrace provide the ideal atmosphere to relax and sip cool drinks and at the end of a perfect day watch the sun set behind the Montgo Mountain. At night garden lights and pool lights enhance the relaxing atmosphere for dinner and drinks.

Other areas of interest: Javea is made up of three areas, the Arenal with its beautiful sandy beach, bars and restaurants. During the summer evenings the Arenal is busy with crafts stalls, artists and musicians. The port area with its fish market and promenade and the Old town with its narrow streets, shops, markets and historic buildings.

Javea: Javea old town consists of narrow streets. picturesque buildings and a colourful market every Thursday morning. The port area has a traditional fishing fleet and the Arenal beach area has sandy beaches, cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops. The World Health Organisation found Javea to be climatically and environmentally one of the healthiest places on earth. Beaches are blue flag standard and are monitored by the Red Cross Beach Patrol. Javea is a select resort, which has been developed with great style and sensitivity. King Juan Carlos is reputed to have said to Prince Charles, 'you can keep Gibraltar, just give us Javea back'!

Leisure Activities: Javea with its natural coastline invites you to pleasurable walks. Many local restaurants, bars and discos help to fill the leisure hours. There is a choice of beaches for those seeking relaxation, wind surfing, jet skiing or sailing for the lovers of the water sports with a school for beginners, mountain walks for those more daring; ten pin bowling, table tennis or golf. If you wish, about 30 min by car will take you to places like Vergel Safari Park, Terra Mitica, Aqualandia Water Adventure, Cueva (cave) de Calaveras, Fuentes (springs) del Algar, the historical beauty spot of Guadalest, the vineyards and wine producers of Jalon etc.

We have rented villas in Spain for many years finding it a relaxing and easy way to spend time with the children, grandchildren and other extended family and/or friends without the hassle and restraints of a hotel or apartment. We live near Brighton in England but had always dreamed of owning our own home in Spain and knew from our many renting years what would work for us as a twosome and also for larger family gatherings. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren and our get togethers are uncomplicated and flexible because everyone can do their own thing in their own space. As we are not able to retire at present we rent the villa out with every confidence that all would have an easy stress free holiday with excellent amenities - no knick knacks - and managed and maintained in immaculate condition by our friends - our husband and wife team.

Why David Moss chose Xàbia

From our experience in renting villas in Spain we knew that once we found the perfect location we would rent a villa in the area and possibly buy. We found Javea by chance and fell in love with its beautiful bays, safe sandy beaches, working port and typical Spanish feel of Javea old town. Added to this is the amazing Montgo mountain which overlooks all these areas and gives an amazing backdrop particularly at sunset. We found Villa Las Palmeras just two properties away from where we were staying and it was love at first sight. In fact we spent most of our holiday sitting on its terrace feasting our eyes on the view of the mountain and enjoying its south west aspect. We wanted to retain its external Spanish look but knew that we would have to completely renovate internally and as it didn't have a pool this also would be a priority. Having a mature garden with 13 palms which we didn't want to move we had the pool designed to the contours of the garden to enhance the palms and to include one of them which falls over one of the curves in the pool. Knowing that little ones want to paddle there are older ones who want to swim and dive the pool is fairly shallow at one end and deep at the other. We completely renovated internally and experiencing that when many people are staying in a villa it is important that you not only have your own bedroom but each have an en suite bathroom we put in a pressurised hot water and central heating system which would accommodate hot water for all 4 showers/baths should everyone want to do so at once. We also wanted the interior to have up to date amenities and to be easily kept tidy. The villa is only 1.5km from the lively bustling Arenal beach with many and varied wine bars and restaurants and close also to the Port area and Javea old town and we seldom venture elsewhere.

What makes this villa unique

The unique benefits of the villa are its location on the prestigious urbanizacion of Tosalet only 1.5 km from the beautiful lively Arenal beach and the feeling of security of 24 hour mobile patrols. The views from the terrace of the spectacular Montgo mountain the options of sitting on the large covered terrace for those who like to keep out of the sun but who can also chat to those sitting on the open terrace overlooking the beautiful pool or perhaps to lie around the pool and watch the eagles as they catch the warm air and seem to float above your head. The villa's Spanish exterior is calm and restful and internally it is cool and spacious and ideal for those who want space to themselves to watch TV, listen to music, read or just have a siesta.

Notes:
Each of the four en suite spacious bedrooms (two king size, two twin) lead into modern airy en suite bathrooms and for further comfort all the windows are double glazed and fitted with shutters and mosquito nets and are air conditioned. All linen/pillows and towels are frequently renewed by the owners. The villa offers many areas to relax, the rear terrace with table, chairs and BBQ area. The front terrace overlooking the pool with both table, chairs and cane furniture giving fabulous views of the Montgo mountain and for the sunbathers many loungers around the shaped pool with jacuzzi. The pool has under water lighting and a poolside solar shower. The garden and pool area also have lighting for those evening dips and late night dining. Pool towels are also supplied.

Fantastic villa with lovely pool

We spent a lovely relaxing week at Las Palmeras. The villa was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean, with the added bonus of all bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. The pool area was excellent, with plenty of sun loungers and the pool itself was great, being deep enough to have a proper swim. We made good use of the bbq and enjoyed eating al fresco, while soaking up the beautiful views of the Montgo and some stunning sunsets. The villa is in a lovely well established area and is only a few minutes by car to the Arenal, where there is something for everyone, and a little further to the Port area. Communication with the owner was excellent and his local representatives, Alan & Val, were there to check us in and out of the villa, as well as being easily contactable for the duration of our stay, should we have required anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this lovely villa.

Fabulous

Stayed for two weeks in July 2017 - we had a fabulous holiday (family of 8). The villa is in a ideal location whilst also being quiet and relaxing. The villa has everything you need and is extremely well equipped. Our two boys spent hours in the pool - one of the best pools in all the rentals we have stayed in. Lovely outdoor space for eating and reading. Nice bonus that all the bedrooms are en-suite so villa easily accommodated all of us. Val and Alan are close to hand to if needed to answer and questions about the villa or amenities and checking in and out was very straightforward. Would definitely return.

fantastic villa, great amenities, brilliant management

arrived on the Saturday and were met by managers alan and val who made us feel welcome and gave us all the info regarding the villa and local shops,restuarants etc. The villa itself was lovely and clean and tidy with everything needed for 8 people. The swimming pool and gardens were in pristine condition. Overall fantastic stay, would definitely recomend

Superb villa in a great location. Can't fault it

We have just arrived back from a fantastic 2 weeks in Javea and this villa played a huge part in that. There were 6 of us in total, 4 adults and our twin boys who are 16 months old. You could easily have had 4 more people staying in the place it was that spacious.

David who owns the villa was great leading up to the visit, easy to contact and keeping us informed. We were met by Alan and Val on our arrival who look after the place for him when he is not there. They were lovely friendly people who could not do enough for us and the place was immaculate. They both gave us a tour of the villa and lots of useful info. During our stay they were easily contactable if we needed anything at all.

The pool and gardens are stunning. We made full use of these and there is a great bbq area at the back of the property. We felt really at home and safe here, especially with our twins being so young. They even provided us with 2 travel cots for them.

One extra bonus we were not aware of is how close it is too some stunning coastline away from the main tourist areas. If your into cycling or running like I am then it was superb to get out and about to this coast.

Supermarkets are close and we found the Large Consum supermarket was the best for varsity and cost so I would recommend using that. A car is a must in my opinion if you want to make the most of Javea. The Arenal beach area is great, clean, tidy and a lovely sandy shallow beach and the water was warm and clear.

The hand over of the property was easy with Alan and Val on our leaving day and we left it as we found which they were very appreciative of. We are already looking at returning, next year with any luck, so I think that shows how much we enjoyed the villa. A wonderful and relaxing place which made our holiday what it was.

Wonderful villa with exceptional facilities

Our second Summer holiday staying in this wonderful villa with our friends, so a group of eight. The facilities are extremely good and spatially very comfortable for this amount of people. It is maintained by a wonderful, local couple (Alan and Val) who welcomed us on arrival and gave us an update on the restaurants and bars. Although accurate and lovely, the photographs do not do the villa justice. We had a wonderful two weeks and can thoroughly recommend this gorgeous place.

Las palmeras

Overall the villa is lovely. Lots of steps so not suitable for anyone with any mobility issues. Views are beautiful and location could not be better. Everything you could possibly need in kitchen and bathrooms etc . Only down side is that the beds and bed linen are rather basic - but I guess if you've got kids etc staying, I can understand. The meet and greet couple were extremely helpful. This is a good villa for a couple of families with youngish children as two of bedrooms are twins.
