Sarlat stay

Beautiful property in a very nice location. There is some nouse from the nearby road but that is not intrusive and is iften lost in the sound of the occasional donkey, peacock, chicken, cow, woodpecker or bird of prey sounds. Very close to Sarlat for the morning walk in for cafe and croissants. Lovely holiday.

Enjoyable stay in well appointed house

Nice rural location yet close to Sarlat for visits. Countryside setting with bird life all around including green woodpeckers. House was well appointed with plenty of space. Outside space excellent with good seating and tables.

Lovely getaway.

Christine met us at the property and showed us around which was lovely. The house is beautiful with everything you need and more. It is perfectly located 10 minutes from Sarlat and set in beautiful surroundings. Other people have said how quiet it is but it depends on your definition of quiet. For me, I like to be away from 'human' noise so this was spot on - no neighbours to be heard 😊 you can however hear the busy main road you turn off to come up to the cottage. This didn't bother me as I got used to it but did bother my husband. We both loved the house though and would definitely stay again 😊 perfect base for the Dordogne Valley.....only a 15-20 minute drive from Beynac, Chateaunaud, La Roque Gageac etc.....

Amazing holiday in amazing place!

We had amazing holiday in this beautiful place. Everything was just perfect - the house (with everything you need), surroundings and the weather! Our morning coffee (sitting outside the house) or evening meals (under the big umbrella) were very enjoyable moments. Christine and her husband met us after arrival and explained everything about the house (what a lovely couple!). They made us feel like at home... THANK YOU CHRISTINE! Hope to visit this beautiful place again :)

Away from it all in the Dordogne area

Lovely spacious and well-equipped house in a very beautiful location in a quiet and rural setting. Ideal for exploring Sarlat and many other pretty villages and gardens. Very friendly and helpful owners
