About this property

Apartment with garden in a semi-detached house located in Perledo on a hill 2.5 km from Varenna (one of the pearls of Lake Como), located in front of the medieval castle of Vezio, with a large terrace overlooking the lake, a beautiful lawn and the place car interior. Ideal starting point to explore the region by car, but also to enjoy moments of relaxation.
In a few minutes by car you can reach the ferry, which connects with Bellagio and the other side of the lake, and the train station that takes you to Milan in 1 hour.
Walking to the lake is a pleasant walk, however the return is more demanding but there is a taxi service.
My husband Marco and I love to travel, get to know places and people, and here in Perledo, in the house of the oleanders where my husband grew up, we wanted to recreate that pleasant and welcoming atmosphere found in many homes during our travels.

Schöner Blick, aber insgesamt nicht optimal

Die Ferienwohnung liegt grundsätzlich nicht schlecht, wenn man das Ostufer des Comer Sees besuchen möchte. Auch Ausflüge nach Bergamo und / oder Mailand sind von hier aus gut möglich. Die etwas kurvige Anfahrt war bekannt, eine Bar (mit Abendessen) und eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ferienwohnung ist funktional ausgestattet, wenn auch insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Highlight ist die große Terrasse mit Seeblick, wenn auch tagsüber im Hochsommer nur eingeschränkt nutzbar (begrenzte Beschattung). Leider war uns nicht klar, das das Haus unmittelbar an einer Durchgangs - Bergstraße liegt (mit Schlafzimmer zur Straße), was den Aufenthalt etwas unruhig gemacht hat. Das Haus besitzt weder eine Klimaanlage noch Fliegenschutzgitter. Sehr angenehm war der Autostellplatz auf dem Grundstück. Die Übernahme / Übergabe der Wohnung vom darüber wohnenden Vermieter war unkompliziert.

Leuk sfeervol Italiaans huis

Het sfeervolle huis lag boven het Comomeer in Perledo, omringd door oleanders die heerlijk ruiken, met mooi uitzicht op het meer, de bergen rondom en cipressen, het kasteel en het oude hoger gelegen deel van het (aantrekkelijke) dorp Varenna. Met iedere avond een nieuwe spectaculaire zonsondergang vanaf ons terras. Aardige bijkomstigheid, waar we geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt is de buitendouche. Als je een dag thuis wilt blijven kun je heerlijk afkoelen, zonder op zoek te moeten naar een zwemgelegenheid elders. Want die zijn er nauwelijks. Om naar het meer en de omliggende stadjes/bezienswaardigheden te gaan moet je iedere keer een steile kronkelweg afdalen, maar dat is goed te doen. We zaten er vrij centraal ten opzichte van al het moois dat die omgeving te bieden heeft. Het interieur van het huis is een beetje gedateerd, maar daardoor zeker wel charmant, met creatieve details. En alles was helder en schoon. De eigenaren wonen in de zomer gedeeltelijk boven het huis, maar we hebben hen nauwelijks gezien. Ze zijn erg vriendelijk en attent. Zo vergat ik een paar truien, die nu worden opgestuurd. Wel raad ik aan een goede anti-muggenspray te gebruiken want we zijn enorm gestoken als we buiten zaten. Gek genoeg ontdek je dat pas een dag later en van de bulten heb ik nog steeds last. Verder hadden de slaapkamers een ventilator die rond deze tijd (juli) geen overbodige luxe zijn.

Toller Ausblick

Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage ist prima. Die Fahrt dorthin hat sehr viele Kurven. Ganz in der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt. Zu Fuß nach Varenna ist es steil.

Accueil chaleureux et vu magnifique.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement où tout le nécessaire est à votre disposition. La terrasse est très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur le lac. Spectacle assuré tout les soirs d ete avec les feux d'artifice tirés des villages de la rive opposée. La gentillesse des propriétaires et leur accueil nous ont enchanté.
