Luxury 5 bedroom (sleeps 8), 1875 stone cottage, Fully refurbished with Hot Tub

Station Lodge South is being offered for holiday letting. Station Lodge was originally built in 1875 for the Nannerch Station Master. It was split in to 2 properties in the 1970's - and both were extended. We live right next door, in Station Lodge North.

Station Lodge South has been fully refurbished to an excellent standard and includes 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (including main bathroom with roll top bath), large kitchen / diner, laundry, large lounge, Hot Tub, car parking for 2-3 cars, large garden, patio & meadow. All areas of Station Lodge South are available for your exclusive use (with the exception of the garage - which we use for storage).

As the house is so large to turn around for our next guests, we have a 4 night minimum price / stay.

Station Lodge South is a 5 minute walk from the beautiful village of Nannerch (with pub, church & school) - based in the Clwydian Range (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Whether you love walking, adventure, shopping or just peace and quite, we have it all. We have multiple walks locally (and a little further afield in the Snowdonia National park. The seaside is 20 minutes away), Try gliding (15 minutes away), or White Water Rafting (at Bala) or Pony Trekking (multiple locations). Chester & Cheshire Oaks (for shopping) are 35 minutes drive, Liverpool is 50 minutes and Manchester 60 minutes. If you are travelling into the UK and want to visit London on your trip - it's 2 hours via Direct Train from Chester Station.

There are lovely restaurants near by and supermarkets in the historic market town of Mold (10 minutes drive) and Castle town of Denbigh (15 minutes drive).

** For your safety, the hot tub water is changed for every set of new guests. As a result, the Hot Tub will be available for use on the day after Check-In Day. In the event of a Hose Pipe Ban, please be aware that we will not be able to fill the Hot Tub **

** If you do bring a pet with you, we respectfully ask that they stay on the lower ground floor (where the kitchen / diner is). Children & pets will need to be supervised in the garden (the garden has gates / fences, but is not 'dog secure') **

** Please confirm how many guests will be visiting when you book. We have a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. We reserve the right to charge for any additional guests @ £50 p.p.p.n. from your security deposit **

One small dog or cat - please notify in advance (we ask that you keep animals on the lower Ground Floor - kitchen / diner area only).

Lovely country stay
Really enjoyed our stay in Nannerch, small village with great local pub. It’s an ideal location for a day out in Chester or a day at the beach in Llandudno. The house was as described, well equipped and the hosts were really lovely. The hot tub is a great feature. Highly recommend this property.

Cute Wales Rural Stay
The pictures on the listing don’t do the property enough justice. The house is beautiful and was spacious enough for our stay. The small touches and attention to detail in the house make it feel so homely. Great location for a rural stay and not too far from beaches, local shops and pubs. Fabulous long weekend at a truly great property. Hosts were first class from initial contact and always quick to respond to any queries during our stay. Property is a lovely location and within easy walking distance to pubs and a great Indian. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous all round property
We had the most amazing stay at Annette & Ray’s property. The locations is beautiful & the property is stunning. Everything was perfect on arrival, lovely and clean and the house was so well equipped for guests of all ages, with tons of games, DVD’s and of course the lovely hot tub which was completely looked after by Ray each day. Annette and Ray have also been extremely responsive to messages and were fantastic when we had to rearrange our trip last year due to covid, thankfully our trip this year could go ahead as planned and it was definitely worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing, relaxing, stress free and much needed break!

It is unique and we fell in love with it. Great location - just on the outskirts of Nannerch which is in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' in the Clwydian hills, great local restaurants close by, easy access to towns & cities, easy access to the seaside. Perfect for getting away from it all (but not feeling too 'off grid').

Perfect location - easy access for Walking (right on our doorstep), Seaside (20 minute drive), History (Castles, Stone Circles etc) and great shopping / towns (Chester, Liverpool & Manchester).
