A large open field adjacent to the house means you can walk through meadows, run off the kids, or the dogs without having to leave your retreat.

If beach life calls, some of the best in the south west are within an hour away from La Rochelle to the stunning ile de Re.


Only an hour from La Rochelle Airport or 40 mins from Poitiers airport, the location benefits from great transport links from the UK and France. The local village Le Retail has all you need, from supermarkets, cafes and local produce in le Boulangarie as well as nearby waterside restaurants and picnic areas.
