It was here, at the Saoû mill, that balls were made with which the children played in schoolyards.
As before, Chantebise is dedicated to recreation, a break in the year where everyone lives at their own pace: while the children play at the pool, the grown-ups indulge in pétanque. Others take a nap by the stream while some take care of turning the grills on the barbecue!
When approaching Saoû, most visitors are blown away by the landscape that awaits them at the turn of the last turns: the small Provençal village, at the heart of a unique geological formation, opens its doors to them and offers them the serenity of the place.
Doing outdoor sports, going for a walk, sharing highlights with family or friends, exploring the Drôme or simply resting: here are some ideas among others that we recommend.
Located on 2 levels, Patin-couffin is the most spacious of the Chantebise lodgings. On the ground floor, the large living room (44 m2) allows everyone to spend a holiday at ease. In the kitchen (24 m2 with dishwasher, oven and microwave), we sit around the large wooden table to share an assuredly convivial dinner.
Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms: the first has a large double bed (1.80m) and the following, two single beds.
A west-facing terrace also allows you to dine outside while enjoying the view of the castle and the surrounding cliffs.
