About the host

Host profile image
I am an architect specialized in the renovation of Tuscan farmhouses and old buildings and I carried out the renovation of the mill as a refuge to be used to disconnect from the world and recharge one's energies in direct contact with nature where everything resembles a fairy tale.

Why they chose this property

The interior is finely finished, with a room that develops around the 4 old stone millstones, where the kitchen area is located, equipped with fridge, burners and lava stone barbecue, which brings out the ancient chiseled monolithic sink as well as a sofa that can be used as a French double bed for guests or children, as well as a series of original antique wooden furniture. The sleeping area on the upper floor, entirely in chestnut wood, has a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and an elegant bathroom with shower. Outside there are two covered verandas, which allow you to spend the day in close contact with nature, near the large wood-burning oven, which allows you to cook and recreate those smells and flavors of the past, like freshly baked bread. Next to the wood-burning oven there is a stone barbecue, for cooking any Tuscan specialty on the grill. In winter the heating is operated by a double combustion wood stove with forced ventilation, while in summer an air conditioning system allows the internal temperature to be perfectly regulated.

What makes this property unique
