VILLA WITH PRIVATE HEATED POOL ON THE VERY SOUTH OF TENERIFE, WALKING TO ALL VILLAGE FACILITIES. The pool is heated and there is a barbacue.
At walking distance you can find a couple supermarkets, a bakery, a butchery and several restaurants, being very famous the mexican one. There is a bus stop and taxi stop nearby, but a car is very useful if you wish to move. The house has not got a washing machine, but access to an utility room. The speed dedicated to each house is 30 Mb both for downloading and uploading
Next to a Banana Plantation with a resort of 12 small houses on the very south of Tenerife, which facilities you can use, including a 13 metres long pool.

Wonderful
Very spacious villa for 6 adults, comfortable and well equipped. We all enjoyed our stay here so much, plenty of private outdoor space too for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. Excellent supermarket 10 mins walk away and bus stop for buses to airport and Los Christianos 5 mins from the Finca. We enjoyed the paddle court and large communal swimming pool which was lovely and warm. A bit of noise from the neighbours during our stay, and self check-in was a bit unexpected and no one to meet and greet on arrival, but these did not detract from a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

PERFECT HIDEAWAY
The location is not only ideal for getting around but has some excellent restaurants and a butchers where the steak and pork were amazing. The sea is visible from the main road and there are lots of quiet short cuts to avoid the main roads. It was less than a 10 minute drive to Costa Silencio and the supermarket at West Haven stocked everything we needed plus baguettes up to French standard. The house is large, of a good standard with high ceilings, remote controlled fans, induction hob, large fridge freezer, very comfortable beds and modern shower rooms. We loved the sofa's. A bottle of wine and large bag of ice was amongst the things left for us. The garden is large, completely private and not overlooked. It's illuminated at night as is the pool.The entrance has a high lockable solid gate. A wonderful place to relax with only the chirping canary finches in the trees. So many places to sit and we had sun from 9.30 to 5.30 in February. Number 44 is set apart from the other properties and is at the end of a road of similar smart houses but the entrance has been reconfigured to be part of the Finca. The butcher and one of the restaurants is at the other end of the road. Los Christianos is a 15 min drive. We were so happy to get back and lock the gate after a visit to the busy areas. The house was cleaned mid stay and the pool was cleaned every other day.

Mix of good and bad
Good bits. Very clean easy to find and clear self check in details. Very spacious, lovely little pool, well equipped kitchen comfy beds fresh linen. Great cleaning staff (Tanya) and Oscar the pool man. Very friendly got us more mugs and some fruit and sorted some pool towels for hire. Cleaned the villa halfway through and changed our towels. Bad bits. Did not see or hear from anybody to check in or out or say hello, see if we were ok or needed anything which we felt was poor. Also the villa is a bit tired looking in certain areas and no dishwasher which for the price we paid i would expect. It is actually semi detached so we had quite a bit of noise from next door early and late. We had lots of flies and mosquitoes too probably not helped by being on a banana plantation!

Home from home
Our 4th stay at Punta Del Lomo, our first stay at 44 and it will not be the last. The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The spaces outside will allow for larger families to have their own space. Loved that the pool is heated, great for cooling down. The kitchen is really well equipped, we had a few nights cooking buying from the local supermarket, great local ingredients, all tbe pans and resources are good quality. The bedrooms are lovely and airy, fans in the rooms helping to cool the inside. Bathrooms beautifully finished. The property was immaculately clean on arrival with bedding and towels changed while we were there. We are hoping to be back in the next couple of months. Great communication with Anna. Highly recommended 🙂
