Fantastic stay in a lovely villa

The host Suki was a pleasure throughout our stay, we arrived to fresh fruit, cold water and face masks and she even cooked a meal for us later in the week. She was always attentive to our needs and helpful if we had any queries. The villa was beautiful including the pool and surrounding gardens - it was very clean throughout, it was clear furniture had been pulled out to clean behind etc. We came during a heatwave and air con would have been a benefit, however fans were provided in all of the bedrooms. The villa is situated within walking distance of the town of Formello, we ate out a number of times and can recommend Forme and La Cantina as particular restaurant highlights. We used a mixture of car and taxi to get around - you can get taxis on Uber/FreeNow with around 20 min wait, or can pre book with Samarcanda Plus e.g. airport transfer. There's plenty of nearby towns to visit, and Lago Di Bracciano is also nearby. Well worth a stay, thanks again Suki!

Beautiful relaxing time with family

We spent 10 days at the villa, it was a great location to spend time as a large family. The house is vast and very comfortable and the kids just loved the pool. We spent many evenings outside of the veranda. Thank you Suki for being such a beautiful and kind host.

Radiant Roman Retreat

I'm still squeeing over our family (3 adults 2 teens) vacation here! I made the photo my Facebook cover picture so I can look at it every day and dream of going back. The villa was SPRAWLING incredibly large rooms kept coming out when I expected the house to stop. It's furnished and decorated in such a unique yet comfortable way with furniture that the owner collected on her various travels. Everything was clean and well-maintained while still maintaining a cool veneer of vintage/travel-worn feel. The pool outside is massive and sparkling, looking down on a gorgeous hill. The owners were incredibly lovely through the duration of our stay. We were allowed to arrive and leave at our leisure, they welcomed us with open smiles and tons (and I'm talking like metric tons) of downright amazing food. We got to eat outside under the patio with the fresh air and stars above us. Too cool. I can't wait to go back!

Perfecct Roman Holiday

The Villa via Roma was a perfect home away from home to celebrate holidays with family and friends. The villa is very spacious, plenty of sunlight filtered through the patio doors. Furnished with antiques from all over the world. The kitchen is well equipped, spacious and can easily accommodate the family of 12 and more. Location was perfect for our family, we wanted to experience both the country side and yet not too far away from the center of Rome. This Villa is only a short drive to/from the center of the all the major tourist attractions. We did a couple of out of town trips without any hassle. Pool is another reason we couldn't wait to come back to the Villa after sight-seeing in the city. (Rome is very hot in July!). The jasmine and rose breeze by the pool is so refreshing and romantic. At night, the view of Rome over the pool was like a light show, it's soooo beautiful! The owner of villa, signora Suki was very reliable, friendly, and respectful. We're planning another vacation in summer of 2012, in Villa Via Roma. This time, more friends are joining us to our home away from home, in Rome. Mia, Closter,NJ

Magnificent property w/spectacular views

Our family rented this wonderful villa just outside of Rome and it was spectacular. The beautiful pictures shown here don't even do it justice - we found it better than what we expected and the owners are wonderful people who have been most helpful. For a larger group transportation into/around Rome could be an issue so I would recommend that this be coordinated prior to your arrival. The ample kitchen facilities allows you to be fully independent; cooking and eating what and when you wish. We stayed here in October and the weather was perfect. I could not more highly recommend this property.
