Stylishly refurbished apartment, light and bright, 3 aspects, 3rd and top floor

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom newly refurbished apartment in the Old Town of Antibes. Long sunny South facing balcony accessed from living area by 2 floor to ceiling French windows for relaxing, dining and watching the world go by.

Fully air conditioned/reverse heat throughout.

Bedroom - Queen bed with very comfy mattress and good quality bed linens. Fitted wardrobes and plenty of cupboard storage. The bedroom is at the back of the building so very quiet and the apartment is double glazed throughout. Large en suite bathroom comprising of bath, shower, WC, heated towel rail and washing machine all leading on to a small balcony allowing a full flow of air throughout the apartment and to hang out your towels and swim suits after a fun day at the beach.

Bright open living area with large sofa that can be turned into a comfortable double bed. Dining table and 4 chairs that lead onto the long sunny balcony for outdoor dining or just relaxing sipping a chilled glass of rose watching the world go by and reading your book.

Free WiFi and Cable TV with a mix of English and French channels, DVD player and stereo with iPod dock.

Complete new kitchen with dishwasher, oven, induction hob, cafatiere, extractor and fridge. Included during your stay tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc.

Walking distance to bus and train station.

Day trips: The train and bus network will take you to wherever you need during your stay. Take the train east or west for exploration of Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Italy. Buses will transport you inland to Biot; famous for its glass. Grasse for the perfumeries. Eze; one of the most beautiful perched villages over looking the Mediterranean and St Paul de Vence for its many art galleries and stunning village.

The local yacht club, 10 minutes walk along the beaches gives you access to Hobie cat's, kayaks and stand up paddle boards to explore the bay.

Golf is a 15 minutes drive to Biot and the start of the many ski resorts only 1hr 45 minutes away.

Of course during your stay you may never need to leave the charm of the Old Town. A myriad of restaurants and cafes are a stroll away. Alternatively you can relax further by taking advantage of local beauty salons, spas including gyms exercise classes and hairdressers.

Local activities: The local yacht club is a 10 minute walk along the beaches gives you rental access to Hobie cat's, kayaks and stand up paddle boards to explore the bay.

The stunning view of the mountains can be seen from the bedroom window also and covered in snow for skiing during the winter. The en suite bathroom leads off from the bedroom.

Lovely apartment with great location

This is a lovely apartment with great location in the old town in Antibes. It´s close to all restaurants and shopping and also close to the bus station. The apartment is well planned, clean and fresh. It has a balcony perfect for morning coffee or dinner in the evening. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful stay

Have just enjoyed a fabulous holiday in this great apartment -staying the last week of September and first week of October we experienced superb weather -high temperatures and blue cloudless skies -a good time of year for a stay.

Campbell and Marice were so accommodating and welcoming and the apartment is everything previous reviews have reported -exceptionally well equipped, very clean, comfy bed ......the list goes on!

There is much to discover and enjoy in Antibes itself which also has good rail and bus links to many interesting destinations good to explore. Thank you again for a lovely holiday

Excellent Base in Old Antibes

My wife and I have just spent two weeks in this delightful little apartment. Clean, tidy and very well equipped, the apartment is handily located a pleasant walk away from sandy La Salis beach and yet in the old town, with all amenities close at hand, including local bus services. The owners were pleasant and very helpful. The climb up to the third floor might be a bit of a 'pull' for some, but it means that the property is quiet yet has a good view of local activity from the balcony. There is so much to see and do in the area that we plan to return.

Tip - The set menu at Restaurant Aubergine, 7 rue Sade, was excellent (we went twice). Just one chap doing all the cooking and his wife doing all the front-of-house stuff. How do they do it six days a week? Extraordinary.

As we are in the old town there are no elevators in buildings but once on the third floor apartment of a small three apartment building it's all one level with a great view point as you said. Look forward to seeing you again, so much more to see and do.

Antibes is a bustling old Market Town with narrow, cobbled streets with a large choice of cafes and restaurants from simple local dishes to gourmet fare, artisan shops, Marche Provencal with fresh and seasonal produce all year round, boutiques, patisseries and boulangeries, fish mongers and local fishermen selling their catch on the docks most mornings and of course fine charcuteries and butchers. Antique market twice a week plus two well stocked supermarkets.

Take a stroll to the famous Picasso Museum that follows a walk around the ancient ramparts towards a sandy, sheltered beach, other beaches are close by.

Port Vauban is the largest marina in Europe with some of the most spectacular mega yachts in the world.

Cap d'Antibes is only a 15 minute walk, housing beautiful villas and small public rocky beaches that tumble into the sea for picnics and views over the Old Town to watch the sun go down.

Trains to Cannes, Nice, Monaco so a car is not required.

Golf: There are over 8 different golf courses of different standards within 30 minutes drive of Antibes.

Ski: The closest ski station is Greoliers sur neige. This is a small resort with 6 lifts good for beginner and intermediate skiers about 1 hour 20 minutes away. Further on you have Valberg, Auron and Isola 2000. These 3 resorts are within a 2 hour drive from Antibes, many locals take this route every weekend. The weekdays can be amazingly quiet outside of school holidays. The resorts are of a good size, offering a great variety of pistes and mountain cuisine!
