A stunning three bedroom, self catering Chalet, with a modern interior and directly opposite the Croix du Sapet ski lift and just 300m from the centre of the Valberg. Valberg is a charming Alpine town just 80kms (just over an hour) from Nice at a height of 1650m.

The Chalet itself is just 300m from the centre of the village and sleeps up to 6 people. the property has a fully enclosed garden with traditional alpine trees and has a wonderful south facing terrace over looking the ski slopes. The Chalet sits on private land, with its own private parking for up to 2 cars. The property has a south facing terrace at the front that overlooks the ski slopes.

Whether you yearn for the ski slopes, for summer activities, or just a mountain retreat and somewhere to watch the world go by - this is the place for you. It's an opportunity too good to miss.

This property is spread over 3 levels.

The top level of the house has a full sized loft bedroom with built in wardrobes and wonderful views.

The middle level of the house commands 2 good sized bedrooms with built in wardrobes and a bathroom with bath and overshower.

The ground level of the house has a kitchen, living room and downstairs toilet. The living room has a fully functional open fire. There is a large south facing terrace leading from the downstairs living room through patio doors. This area has a beautiful stone BBQ.

The house is fully centrally heated. There is double glazing and shutters throughout.

There is a large garden to the back, side and front of the house with mature alpine trees.

There is a ski locker outside the front door, and extensive Cave that houses the central heating boiler and a single garage (newly roofed).

There is a satellite installed with access to all enlist channels. There is a DVD player and an iPod dock with speakers.

The house (and terrace) is south facing with a mountain aspect. It is directly opposite the Croix du Sapet ski lift , a full size swimming pool that has a winter cover , tennis courts and basket ball courts.

This unspoilt and tranquil region of France caters for both winter and summer sports. In the winter there are 52 available ski runs with snow cover ensured by 350 snow canons. In the summer all manner of activities can be catered for including Mountain Biking (VTT), Hiking, Mountain Golf, Swimming, Tennis, Trampoline, Gymnastics, Archery, a Multi-Sport Playground, EVA, Summer Luge, Quad Biking, White Water Rafting, Canoeing, Kayaking, Trout Fishing, Rock Climbing and Pony Trekking.

Nearby is the National Park du Mercantour - a naturalists and hikers dream. For most people the entry into Valberg will be through one of the stunning gorges - The Gorges du Cians or The Gorges du Daluis. Only 300m from the centre of Valberg, with its many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Excellent Property in a Great Location

As a family of 6 we went to Valberg over the 2013 Christmas period. The Holiday Chalet was superb with all amenities that one would require. Access to the Ski lifts was spot on as they are just across the street from apartment. Even with 6 of us staying there we had plenty of space for us all. It was also very clean and tidy. We had to call upon our Contact person (Madame Nell) a couple of times who was extremley prompt and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Unfortunatley not all the Lifts were open during our stay (not sure if this was because of the snow conditions or the time of the season). We really enjoyed Christmas at the apartment, the skiing was Ok and Valberg is a nice resort. Only one down thing (from my Childrens perspecive) was lack of WiFi in the apartment and also in the resort. We wouldn't hesitate in going back to the resort and apartment. - Thanks

Valberg

This is a fabulous house. very close to the ski lifts and just a few minutes walk to the beautiful town of Valberg. We spent our Christmas here with our 2 boys, everything was perfect. We will certainly return.

Our best ski holiday ever.

As a family of 4 we went on family skiing holiday and decided to stay in Valberg because it was very accessible from Nice and the resort had great ski reviews. We decided to stay in this fabulous apartment and as a family enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is fully fitted with all modern devices but still retains it's traditional feel which we loved. With regards to ski access a ski lift is located just across the street from apartment next to the public swimming pool. As a family of four we found the apartment to be very spacious, clean and very well maintained. We were also very please to find UK television, which kept the soap opera fans happy in the evenings in front of roaring open fire. We found the owners to be very helpful and informative. We enjoyed the apartment, the skiing and the resort that much we are going back this Easter to get away for a week.
