Kasbah Gousteau is a haven of peace. The kasbah, which was completely renovated, is made of clay from the garden and the ceiling consists of wood that we could find in the area. When entering the majestic hallway the smell of earth is sniffed The interior has become a harmonious mix of traditional objects mixed with European comfort. Art takes a big place. The library has a wide selection of literature that can be savored next to the fireplace, the art gallery houses old pottery and the Orson Welles bar provides a drink and a drink. The rooms all have a different theme: for example, the Casablanca room is fully furnished in black-and-white-silver combination, the Terra del Mundo houses oriental art, while Lauwrence of Arabia creates a rough Arabic touch. But the respect for Moroccan architecture was always maintained.
The garden has evolved over the years into an oasis of peace with its palm trees, its various terraces and shady corners where it is delicious tea drinking. The Caidal tent with beautiful Moroccan carpets and leather poufs will take you to the fairytale of a thousand and one nights.
And of course there is the possibility of a refreshing dip in the pool before or after a pleasant nap.
The kitchen is one of the best in the area and breakfast is generous with eggs, oil, jam, cheese, the traditional Morrocan pancakes and fresh fruit.
Kasbah Gousteau has nothing of a prodigious palace but is grand in its modesty.
