A property with character
This property was a joy to stay in (despite banging my head on the low ceilings a couple of times). Great location and well kitted out property that's been decorated beautifully makes this a great place to stay to explore the area, as well as trying all the wonderful restaurants that Porthleven has to offer.

Great property and location , we had street light out side bedroom window and curtains could have been thicker and the light was shining in all times apart from that great

Cornish dream fisherman's cottage
Excellent cottage, very clean and we were welcomed with tea bags, milk, scones, clotted cream and jam. Loved the cottage, and it was so quiet, although very close to main area. Loved this cottage and everything was perfect.

Sea Salt cottage, Porthleven
The cottage is located in a small quiet terraced street close to the harbour and we were able to park here for the week we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely week in the cottage and really enjoyed being in the heart of Porthleven which has a variety of places to eat and drink, and is a very attractive place to walk around. We hadn’t appreciated from the listing that the kitchen was on a lower level or how low and steep the staircase was to access it. We are mobile and could manage but this would be a problem for people with more restricted mobility.

Well fitted out cottage in good location
Property was very much as described by Home Away. Well-fitted out and comfortable and in quiet location five minutes from port. Street parking was ok in May but I wonder what it would be like in peak season. Cottage was absolutely fine for us but is not at all suitable for anyone with mobility problems as all stairs are steep and the stairs down to the kitchen are very steep indeed with a low ceiling - we went down backwards to avoid hitting our heads ! Ceilings are generally quite low so anyone over 6ft could end up with a bruised head at some point. Outdoor sitting area - not great - no sun at any time of the day unless you fancy sitting amongst the bins- better to go down to port .
