2nd large double or twin

The apartment has been stylishly decorated to be in keeping with the stunning turn of the century villa.

All rooms including the open plan lounge are spacious, the kitchen diner well equipped to accommodate 6-8 guests.

There is also a snug for kids games or a quiet read.

Two stunning apartments within a beautiful lake side villa, the very spacious apartments are newly re-furbished in a contemporary style. The property has a large garden with off road parking BBQ and seating area and comfortable sun loungers. The lake is just across the road and easily accessible for swimming. Cycle track to Annecy centre and other villages and beaches 300 metres from the property. Local shops and amenities and port with watersports 5 min away .

There is an 18 hole golf course 10kms from the property

About Yvonne Van-Hien

Villa Anne marie was purchased from madame Anne Marie pianasani by Carl and Yvonne as a derelict house in 2002, we are only the 2nd owners of this lovely property and have loving renovated the building into 2 stunning apartments ,we ourselves love the house and its surrounds and enjoy sharing it with our visitors,we live in the French alps with our two teenage daughters and jack russel, scooby .We have been in France for 20 yrs

the apartments are very spacious, well equipped and designed as homes not just rental apartments, we have kept many original features of the house, including things like framed magazines which were found in the building from 1911, I think the love put into the renovation makes it a special place to stay!

What makes this apartment unique

the proximity to the lake and cycle path , stunning views space and freedom of the house offers our guests a very enjoyable holiday,

Canadian canoe is available for guests use too, the port of bout du lac and the village summer markets make this a great place to stay.

The ferry boat that tours the lake stops very close by too.

Notes

The linen and towels are included in your stay, we ask that the apartments are left clean and tidy and we take a damage deposit of 200 euro cash on arrival which is refunded on your departure , should the apartment need extra cleaning we will deduct 50euro from the damage deposit.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our 9 night stay in the apartment. It had everything we needed and was so close to the lake and the bike path. The restaurant Chez Ma cousine is a must! The area was beautiful and lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Yvonne was great and very helpful. I highly recommend it.

A beautiful interior

This apartment is beautifully decorated - we have never stayed in such a pretty bedroom. The whole interior is finished to a very high standard. The apartment is really convenient for water sports and very close to a good swimming spot. Yvonne was very helpful and friendly. Lake Annecy itself is simply stunning.

Fantastic - well equipped and wonderful location

Lovely appartment, across the road from the lake and a really good restaurant. Plus a beach and water sports just around the corner. We were here for a week's cycling and had an amazing time. The only caution is that the traffic noise in one bedroom is relentless so may not be good for light sleepers - it didn't bother us too much though.

Yvonne was a wonderful host and responded really quickly when I couldn't find the cafetière.

WOW!!

What a beautiful location-turquoise waters and mountain views.

Yvonne and Carl are the perfect hosts-there when needed but keeping their distance to respect your privacy. Yvonne kindly reserved a table for us on the Saturday of arrival in the restaurant across the road. So glad she did as people who had not booked in advance were being turned away whilst we were shown to our table right on the waters edge, such a perfect setting for a fabulous meal. Top tip-email Yvonne & ask before you arrive as it gets very busy!

We stayed in the Terrace apartment which is on the second floor of the villa. Everything we needed was there comfortable living area-three bedrooms, two bathrooms, three toilets, fridge freezer, oven (prefer to eat out though!!!) and Sky TV with UK channels.

We walked into Doussard for the small weekly market & found a lovely mini supermarket with patisserie there plus there is an adequate sized Carrefour

Bout de lac is the more picturesque end of the lake with the mountain backdrop and watching the paragliders making their descent is relaxing.

We caught the boat to Annecy which was pleasant but expensive. The area is ideal for families because of the lake being so close but we loved driving up into the mountains to see the views.

It would be unfair if I didn't point out the compromise to this beautiful location. Being so close to the lake means that you are also close to the road that takes traffic right round the lake & it really is very busy. The villa is right on the roadside so if you have your bedroom windows open you will hear the traffic. The view though from the back of the villa are stunning though, even on the roadside you glimpse the lake through the trees.

A very enjoyable holiday in truly beautiful surroundings with perfect hosts Thank you

Villa -Anne -Marie is located in Bout du Lac(end of the lake) 20km from the town centre of Annecy with all its

interesting shops medieval streets and bustling markets. Often called the Venice of the alps as the waterways meander through many of the old streets. There are lots of places of interest , like the old chateau, museums and galleries. The town is very close to the lake and surrounded by lovely green parks, swimming areas and places to hire all kinds of boats, take a lovely tour on one of the trips or simply relax and take in the stunning views.

Bout de lac has a lovely port, tennis courts, cycle hire and lots more, an ideal base to explore the beautiful surrounds within easy reach of all local amentities and with lots going on in the small villages around, summer markets, concerts and village fetes just a few of them. The lake has lovely swimming and sun bathing areas

with life guard facilites.

There are also several restaurants and cafes close by.
