This complex consists of four separate autonomous houses with shared garden and barbecue area and communal swimming pool. Diktamos Villas brings a new style of greek hospitality and are perfect for those who love antiques, classic art pieces and would like to feel like home away from home. Cosiness, homely atmosphere and a high quality of service, all of this you will experience in Diktamos Villas.

These houses sit within a 1,500 m? private estate on the northern coast of Crete, near the town of Rethymnon, in the village of Atsipopoulo.

Layout

Entering villa you will find an open plan area with the living room, the dinning area and a fully equipped kitchen. Living room is designed in traditional style which will bring you sense of coziness and feeling of home away from home. Owner of the complex pays special attention to the small details, paintings on the wall, handmade doormats, house plants, everything is carefully thought out. Reaching the first floor through the wooden staircase, guests will enter bedroom, which offers double bed (1,60 X 2,00) and built-in wardrobe. Bathroom with shower also is available on this floor. Villa is able to accommodate 2 people in beds and up to 3 persons with using a sofa bed in the living room. These cosy house is perfect for a couple with a child.

There is a communal washing machine in the complex that you can use.

The outdoor area of the complex offers several facilities, shared between the villas, which include:

Atsipopulo is a nice suburb of Rethymnon Town, only 5 km from the city center. There is nothing that you cannot find in Atsipopoulo nowadays, as it has all kinds of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, many restaurants and services. The spot of the complex is ideal for people who want a quiet place to relax but to be close to everything. Furthermore it is a great base for making excursions around Crete as the main national road is only 2 minutes away

Lovely experience

The villa was perfect, very spacious and well appointed. We had personal service from the owner who spent time introducing us to the area and helping us decide what to do. Nothing was too much trouble. Although the weather was not blazing hot the pool was very welcome .

Tolles Ferienhaus in ruhiger, uländlicher Umgebung

Wir waren für 10 Tage im Ferienhaus Mitos untergebracht - und waren begeistert. Wunderschön eingerichtet, sehr geräumig, fantastische Lage, nette Gastgeber, wir können diese Anlage nur empfehlen. Die Ausstattung war hochwertig, Klimaanlagen im Erd- und Obergeschoss, sehr gut funktionierendes WLAN, 2 deutsche TV-Sender konnten empfangen werden. Der Poolbereich sah auch sehr einladend aus, jedoch war nur 1 Sonnenliege verfügbar. Daher haben wir den Pool nach dem Strandbesuch nur am späten Nachmittag kurz genutzt. Zudem ist die gesamte Anlage sehr schön bepflanzt, an den Obstbäumen durfte man sich bedienen. :-) Vermieter wohnt auch in der Anlage, bei Problemen/Fragen/Tipps kann er jederzeit angesprochen werden. Die Familie führt übrigens eine Taverne mitten an der Hafenpromenade in Rethymno, in die wir direkt nach Ankunft eingeladen wurden. Vielen Dank nochmal für soviel Gastfreundlichkeit. Wir würden definitiv einen Mietwagen empfehlen, da es bis zu den nächsten Geschäften/Restaurants/Bäckerei sicher 2-3 km war. Rethymno ist ca. 5-6 km entfernt, mit dem Wagen sind wir ca. 10-15 min gefahren. Falls wir nochmal in diese Region fahren wollen würden, würden wir sicher wieder hier wohnen wollen.

Sentirsi come a casa.....

Ubicazione perfetta, posto incantevole, appartamento molto carino, ampio e pulito. Il proprietario ci ha piacevolmente accolto, fornendoci tutte le indicazioni per le nostre escursioni, ci ha offerto un'ottima colazione il primo giorno e viziato ogni giorno con i prodotti freschi dell'orto. Raccomanderei sicuramente questo alloggio e spero di tornarci in futuro.
