About the property

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two terraces, cosy fire, West Kensington.

Beautiful sunny apartment less than 8 minutes from 3 major tube stations and 6 tube lines.

A fantastic sunny 3 bed apartment set over two floors in this leafy neighbourhood. There is a fully equipped eat in kitchen which leads directly onto a south facing terrace. This terrace is set right in the tree tops and is ideal for having a few drinks whilst catching the last of the sun in the evening or for the first rays at breakfast. Both the terrace and the kitchen seat six.

There is a comfortable sitting room with a large realistic log/gas fire which heats up the room in seconds. Hundreds of books and games.

Two modern bathrooms, one complete with large stand up power shower and heated tiled floor.

The master bedroom has a second terrace leading off it which is perfect for sunbathing or just escaping the family. There is one further double bedroom and a single room with a desk.

5 minutes walk away is Brook Green which has an a playground, space for children to run around in and tennis courts (2 tennis rackets in the flat which you can use)

Wi-Fi, iPod speakers, DVD, Cable tv, washing machine etc all available.

For entertainment you have the famous Hammersmith Apollo theatre, Bush theatre and a selection of cafes, bars and restaurants including, the modern River Cafe and the famous riverside pub 'The Dove', the oldest surviving riverside pub in London. There are several excellent gastro pubs nearby including The Havelock and the Anglesey Arms and the Pope's Eye - a tiny steak house.

A large Tesco's is 5 minutes walk, a Morrisons 3 minutes away and in the other direction, 6 minutes walk you have the enormous Westfield Shopping Center and Waitrose.... endless shops and restaurants.

A 24 hour M&S garage is between the flat and Westfield.

Parking outside is free on weekends and evenings but a meter must be fed at £2.20 per hour between the hours of nine to five.

Very nice, centrally located 3 bedroom flat

We recently stayed in this flat for a 10 day visit to London. While we did not meet the landlady personally, she was always very responsive via email and the flat worked out well. We did not have any problems. She had a wonderful bottle of wine and some nice flowers on the kitchen table waiting for us. We had two related families stay together in London in the flat (5 of us in total). We will definitely try to stay here next time when we have at least four or five people visiting London.

The flat's location is a selling point. It is easy to get to central London by one of three close by tube stations. We took a bus to Kensington Palace from a close by bus stop. There are also several grocery stores within an easy walk as well as the Westfield Mall with so many shops and restaurants.

It was hot for London in July 2016 when we stayed and we really enjoyed using the outdoor terrace patios. We would eat, drink and talk outside on the patio after a long day of sightseeing or after coming home from West End play. As this flat occupies the top couple of floors of this very nice town house, there are a couple of flights of stairs up to the flat and stairs within the flat. These were no problem for us, but if you are adverse to walking up and down stairs, you should be aware of this.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay

Great location with regards to convenience. 10 Minute walk from Gold Hawk road tube station, maybe 15 or 20 minute walk from Hammersmith station. Place was clean and Kitchen provided the basics. Good internet connection. 3 bedroom, 2 bath which isn't too awfully easy to find, not at the price listed. Couple of downsides, the single bed was a bit uncomfortable, springs might be on the their last legs, apartment is on 3rd floor so if climbing stairs is difficult you might be challenged. I have an arthritic knee and an arthritic hip and it was a challenge but manageable. Owner was very easy to work with. Would consider staying here again.

Great flat, great location

Had a wonderful stay in Selina's flat who was so friendly and easy to deal with. The flat itself is lovely and really central to everywhere you'd want to go in London! Would highly recommend and will stay here when I come back.

Wonderful stay

We had a delightful stay at this flat. Selina was very responsive with email and helpful in sharing information about local When we got to the flat there was wine, cookies and coffee waiting. The flat is very convenient to the tube, buses, restaurants and supermarkets. We basically went to about every museum and castle in town. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. There are 2 lovely patios that have a view of leafy, flowery courtyards. Our kids enjoyed the fun chair in the living room. Thanks for the wonderful visit Selina!

What a great apartment

We arrived from the Los Angeles for Christmas and we had dispaired of finding a good home. Luckily Selina had had a last minute cancellation... She was fantastic from the start. Very welcoming, so accomodating (she even asked if we'd like a Christmas tree). It couldn't have been easier to find the flat or to get in even though we arrived very late at night. What a lovely treat we had a bottle, biscuits and snacks ready for us which was just what we wanted but not at all expected. The flat was really central to everything in London.. West End theatres were very easy on the Picadilly line, shopping in Westfield just nearby, a good park for the kids on Brooke Green.. We would recommend this entirely.. The weather was nice for December so we used the Boris Bikes at the end of the road alot and it was only 15 minutes cycle to Hyde Park. We are coming to London in November next year and hope that Selina's flat is still available.THANK YOU...

Heavenly home away from home for a family of 5

I came over to London with my family from Boston (my husband had a one month work project in London). We stayed at this wonderful flat. Selina (the host) was very efficient, always available for any questions but also totally inobtrusive. We arrived late at night and the key was easy to find and she had left us a snack and some breakfast for when we got in. Transport links to all the sites of London are superb. 20 minutes to Piccadilly, and straight on the central line to my husbands work near Oxford Street. My boys took Boris Bikes from the end of the road to Hollands Park's amazing adventure play area. We had a wonderful time. When it rained for a week and we didn't use the terraces much, we had the log fire and we played games inside. We will be coming back everytime we get transferred to London from Boston. Thank you!

Nearest Airport : Heathrow at 30 Miles Nearest Train : Kensington Olympia at 1 Miles Nearest Motorway : M1/A40 at 4 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : The Havelock at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Brighton! at 100 Kilometres Car: not necessary

The flat is on a quiet leafy residential road in West Kensington and 5-8 minutes walk from 3 tube stations - Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith and Goldhawk Road. Kensington Olympia overland train is only 8 minutes walk. These stations provide access to the Central Line, Circle, Hammersmith and City, and Piccadilly Lines and numerous bus stations.

Situated just west of the well known Nottinghill and Portobello markets and a short bus hop from Kensington High Street. Shepherd's Bush and Brook Green is epitomised by the behemoth Westfield shopping centre, the largest urban mall in Europe. Sounds hellish? It's heavenly.
