About this property

This secluded holiday villa is located in the centre of Islamlar village, a short 10-15 minutes drive from the sophisticated resort town of Kalkan, and has a capacity for six guests. The accomodation comprises of an open-plan kitchen and lounge opening directly onto the outdoor dining area and the pool beyond. There is a twin bedroom on this floor which shares the adjacent communal bathroom. There are two spacious double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, with a shared balcony on the upper floor from which the panoramica views out over Kalkan Bay are breathtaking. There are air-conditioning units is all the bedrooms but not in the kitchen and lounge.

Situated in approximately one acre of land, this villa has a very large garden with mature planting, and combined with the additional features including a magnificent traditional shaded seating platform, provides a ideal setting for a relaxing holiday The pool terrace has an outdoor jacuzzi from which guests may take in the superb views. The location and lanscaping results in a high level of privacy of the villa, meaning that is is suitable for guests with high privacy requirements, be it for religious or other reasons.

Located only 200-300 metres from the centre of the village, guests are able to purchase daily essentials from the local grocers shop and partake in the fare of several local restaurants

The nightly rates shown are based on a minimum of 7 nights occupancy. Accordingly please note that for reservations of 5 nights or less there is an additional charge of 1000 Turkish Lire for cleaning of the villa , payable in cash on arrival .

Excellent villa

This property is located in the mountains, roughly a 10-15 minute drive into Kalkan, where you can find plenty of restaurants. You would need a car if you plan to travel around, otherwise there are smaller local restaurants within walking distances of the property. The villa itself is very cosy with 3 sizeable bedrooms, with both of the upstairs bedrooms having en suites and a balcony overlooking cliffs and the sea. There is an open space lounge with a kitchen and dining area, as well as outside dining next to the pool. The jacuzzi is solar-powered, so if you plan to use this then book during longer days. Likewise, the pool is not heated so booking during the summer for its use would be best. There is privacy around the house by way of the large trees so it is suitable for families.

Amazing villa with stunning views!!!

We stayed for 7 days, in the beginning of August, in Villa Kilim. We had a wonderful stay and really weren’t any negatives. Just a couple of things that could be sorted - One of the upstairs bedroom door was very stiff to open and shut. Also, there were no mirrors in the bedrooms. There was a large mirror in the hallway but it was for everyone to share, which got crowded when everyone was getting ready to go out. The villa was very clean & just the right size for 6 people. The pool was a nice size and totally secluded, for those who are looking for privacy. There was a lovely jacuzzi outside for two people, over looking some beautiful views. In the evenings, we had tea and relaxed in the nice little hut in the side garden after we got back from a long day out. You could even have a bbq there too. The villa is very close to the village shops and local restaurants. There’s a fresh spring, right next to the mosque, where you can fill your water bottles. There is also a stall there where a local man sells local jams, butter and fresh hot bread. Kalkan City Centre is a 10-15min drive away -taxi ride costing 50TL. There are a handful of local restaurants only a few minutes walk away from the Villa. Our favourite had to be Koy Restaurant, which was the closet to the Villa. The restaurant had stunning views, a cosy ambiance and their food was amazing! The waiters were very friendly and could speak some English and were helpful whenever we needed any information. They also booked us cabs to Kalkan when we needed it. The owner Christine was very helpful and arranged our transfers and also did a bit of shopping for us before we arrived there -as we got to the villa at midnight İslamlar was a quiet, peaceful village with friendly locals and beautiful scenic mountain views. There was a shop nearby to buy snacks & toiletries. İslamlar was more than what we had imagined it would be and can most definitely say we all left a little piece of our heart there. We hope to come back again soon to this little village and stay at Villa Kilim.

Lovely private family villa

Lovely villa with plenty of space for 5 of us. Great location up in the hills, totally private and not overlooked with lots of local restaurants really close by selling local food at really reasonable prices. Local agent Christine in Kalkan is British which was hugely helpful to us. Contacted us prior to our holiday offering assistance with cars and transfers etc and was really attentive and helpful with queries whilst we were on holiday, even those not connected with the villa. Would definitely recommend!
