Just great

We had a fantastic time. Kids loved the garden, and weather was surprisingly perfect for this time of the year, so we even managed to have a barbecue. Sandy beach is nearby if you need this, but beautiful Kent countryside is on your doorstep. Would highly recommend!

Home from home

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely break here. The cottage is very cosy with beautiful gardens and close to a variety of days out. David and Gilley were very welcoming and perfect hosts. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away. Great for couples or if you have 1 or 2 little ones. Our little girl has fallen in love with the place and can't wait to go back!

Peaceful cottage in beautiful surroundings

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful few days in this lovely cottage. I was really pleased to see it was just as attractive in reality as in the photos! The cottage is set in beautiful, tranquil surroundings, and was very clean and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful, providing detailed directions and information about the local area, and letting us help ourselves to home-grown raspberries! We enjoyed relaxing in the stunning garden. We used the cottage as a base for visiting places including Camber Sands, Battle, Canterbury and Whitstable. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others.

A great week in the Peacock Studio in May

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week in the Peacock Studio . It is a little paradise in the quiet of rural Kent , just the place we were looking for. The garden was very beautiful in May and so were the Blue Bells and Cow Parsley we saw everywhere.

The studio itself was lovely, cosy, very clean and very well-equipped with matching linen and towels, an example of the care with which the studio is furnished by Gilly and David, the very kind and gentle.owners. Even with 4 tall (1.75m - 1.95m) Dutch people , there was plenty room for us.

We walked along the foothpaths, visited Rye, Canterbury, Kingsgate Bay, and several National Trust houses and gardens. There is so much to see, we would like to come again!

Lovely stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely time. Gilly & David were so kind and our children loved the house & garden. The house is very cosy & there are so many great beaches nearby & a brilliant family pool with lots of slides in Ashford if it's raining. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Lovely Cottage - Kent

  • 5 of 5

This lovely cottage is set in Kent, near the sea in a beautiful area. There are many options to go for a walk in the landscape that varies from sea to hills.

We really enjoyed staying here. It's clean and bright and we were able to find everything we needed.

The owners are kind and helpful, they really showed interest in us while we were staying.

We would recommend this cottage to anyone. We had a great time and we loved England!
