Villa Livia is a 1000 m2 villa built in the 60s as a summer residence and just renovated, but retains its vintage charm. The house is located in the Cartaromana area, a quiet and strategic area of the municipality of Ischia Porto with beaches reachable in 5 minutes on foot and Ischia Ponte a 10-minute walk away, the bus stop right in front. The view of Villa Livia is dominated by the majestic Aragonese Castle which, however, leaves space behind it to Vesuvius, the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento and to its right to the island of Capri. The property has 4 rooms with private bathroom and balcony. Customers will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the view in the large panoramic terrace, in the lush garden or sit in the round table of the gazebo overlooking the sea. One of the Villa's indelible points is certainly the cellar with ancient wines from all over Europe and a surreal atmosphere, difficult to explain in a few lines.

Spectacular views, lovely village

The villa is on a hill overlooking the lovely village of Ischia Ponte. It's a spacious villa, with lots of character, and the owner was very helpful. The photos of the view speak for themselves. A 10 minute downhill walk takes you to Ischia Ponte, with shops, restaurants and a small beach. A 5 minute walk down the other direction takes you to some rocky swimming areas and Gardenia beach club ($15/day). PROS: Hilltop setting with cool breezes 5 roomy bedrooms Big living & dining areas Helpful owner Ischia Ponte - nicest village we visited on Island CONS (minor): Kitchen and bathrooms a little bit dated No A/C, but fans in each bedroom & ocean breeze were enough (in August) Uphill all the way home - a moped or eBike would be ideal to rent We would rent here again next year.
