- The cost for the final cleaning and sanitation of the whole house , terrace , swimming pool , and washing and sterilization of the sheets , towels and of the tablecloths from bathroom , for each period of stay , amounts to € 120 . This sum ,if it has not already been paid at the time of booking , is compulsory to pay at the check-out cash( if it has not already been paid at the time of booking).
-The deposit amounts to € 300 , if it has not already been paid at the time of booking , to be paid in cash at check-in and will be returned ,in full in the absence of damage suffered by the property , at time of check-out ,after a necessary and quick check .
-There is a tourist tax payable in cash at check-in: from 1 april to 31 october, the tax residence is equal to 3 euro per day for each person (new amendment approved by the Municipality of Ravello on 20.03.2019). The age under 16 are not subject to payment of the tax
-In observance of the Italian Law will need to sign a binding contract will not involve absolutely no additional cost and will be necessarily signed by the guest at check-in (it's a binding contract required by Italian law in order to protect both the host stating that rent the catering exclusively to a tourist use in the same, that the owner) .
- The electricity / air conditioning included in the price up to 100 kWh of consumption, the consumptions over 100 kwh will be counted for an amount equal to € 1,00 for each kWh, to be paid in cash on departure.
- All the electricity used in the house is 100% exclusively energy from renewable sources. We are very sensitive to energy waste. It is a small contribution to the best protection of our world.
- In compliance with the Kyoto and Doha treaties, the Italian legislation provides that both in winter and in summer the temperatures inside the holiday homes can never exceed a certain temperature. This temperature was set at 20 degrees Celsius (with a maximum tolerance of 1 degree Celsius), equivalent to 68 degrees Fahrenheit, in heating mode and 27 degrees Celsius (with a maximum tolerance of 1 degree Celsius), equivalent to 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit, in cooling mode. These temperatures are imposed by the legislation for a healthy and optimal use of electricity, against energy waste and for the protection of the environment and public health.
- Moreover, by virtue of the recent war between Russia and Ukraine, Italy, like many other European nations, suddenly found itself without energy supplies previously coming from Russia and the Italian government, at the moment, has found only as a temporary solution that of double the costs of energy materials, so as to make consumption by the population prohibitive, thus reducing consumption.
- So remember that leaving the windows open with the air conditioners on, or leaving the lights on and the air conditioners on without anyone at home, or sleeping with the air conditioners on all night and covering yourself from the cold with duvets in Italy is considered an absurd waste of energy, no longer sustainable. For considerable energy savings, it is always preferable to use the dehumidifier mode in case of humid heat.
However, personally, I deeply respect the habits of each guest of the structure, but I believe it is important that all my guests have the precise awareness of the costs of their choices in order to maintain their habits.
- Access to the sea platform will be allowed from 1 May to 15 September, also in consideration of the weather conditions.
- It is forbidden to enter the sea platform in case of rough sea.
- Perfect home for family holidays.

Wonderful holiday in stunning Apartment
Apartment was very spacious and just as photos, with good aircon needed in heat. Excellent access to sea, and we’d often swim round to the beach in minori for lunch. Francisco couldn’t have been more attentive to our needs, which included his brother driving me to the pharmacy to make sure I picked up the right medications for my son’s sore ears. We had a wonderful visit, highly recommend.

Amazing stay on Amalfi Coast
Amazing week spent on Amalfi coast. The views from the castle were beautiful. It’s just a short walk to Sal De Riso in Minori. Perfect location to visit other sights along the coast, especially if you are driving (there is parking included). Staying in a historic property with all the updated amenities was really special.

Luxurious, charming, convenient location w/ excellent service!
The Space. I can not overstate it but the house is enormous with ample air conditioning in all rooms (minus bathrooms and kitchen). It never took long to cool down the house, the water pressure was great, the induction range made stovetop espresso beautilfully. The interior and exterior are well maintained and very, very clean. Our host, even warmed up the jacuzzi for us. The views are breathtaking and they never get old. We had happy hours and breakfast on the partially covered terrace. The Neighborhood. Minori was the perfect town for us because we traveled almost exclusively by ferry (to see even more breathtaking views of the coast) and the house was super close to the port. There is really good fresh pasta and seafood to be had and our host had the most excellent recommendations. The pastries and gelato are pretty awesome too. On day one, when Francesco realized how much I love sweets he took me on a spontaneous car ride to not one, not two, but THREE different pastry shops in town until I was satisfied (not an easy thing to do). The Host. Francesco and his wife were just a dream to work with. He was always in communication with us before, during, and after our stay. He provided us with clear information and direction to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Any time we needed a recommendation for food or activities, logistical advice, or clarification on his instructions, he would respond very quickly. Problems that came up were addressed the same day and always scheduled to not interrupt our time at home. We had some ants because the previous tenants failed to clean up a honey spill and didn't notify our host. But, Francesco and his team went to work immediately and aggressively to find the source of the problem and find a solution. We never felt neglected, even when his father fell ill and he had to divide his time further. He was the perfect host! Bottom line: Super big bang for your buck with a built in travel/tour guide and service with heart!

AMAZING!!
Based on the glowing reviews of the villa and the host and hostess we booked the Small Castle of the Moors for 11 days..the reviews were spot on!! Francisco and his wife Stefania were incredibly gracious to us. Upon arrival Francisco drove us to the local market for few items and then showed us his favorite restaurants and bakeries. He and his wife spent two days bringing us to Naples, Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius ending with Stefania accompanying us into a larger market for food and supplies. Francisco continued to stay in touch with us throughout the 11 days and arranged a Lemon Tour for us and then surprised us with a quick trip to the hidden gem of Marina di Praiano beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the small castle which is a short distance to the bus stop and a 10 minute walk to the town of Minori where there are restaurants, bakeries and ferries to Capri, Positano and etc.. The villa was sparking clean and the views from the balcony and villa are spectacular! A BIG THANK YOU to Francesco and Stefania for treating us like royalty at the Small Castle of the Moors!!!
