The Olatzea hotel, opened in November 2008, is located in the Navarran town of Arbizu, with a population of 1,100 inhabitants. This one is located in the Sakana Valley; surrounded by the Aralar, Urbasa and Andia mountain ranges.
It is very well connected by both motorway and highway. It has easy access from Pamplona- 40km; Vitoria - 60km; San Sebastián -78km; Bilbao -116km.
The old Arbizu mill, today, is transformed into the new and comfortable Hotel Olatzea.
This new construction has respected - within its current facilities - the structure and correct operation of that old process tool from the 19th century, in which the grain was ground, as well as the machinery that installed the electric light in the town of Arbizu .
The Leziza regatta, next to the Hotel, supplies the water just as it did 2 centuries before, and the process culminates in the movement of the stone that grinds the grain (in the current hotel reception).
The original mill facility is located in the very bowels of the hotel, being visible from our meeting room.
The rooms are warm and spacious (20-27m2). Its decoration and services are far from uniform and are adapted to the needs of our clients.
The 11 rooms, spread over two floors, are equipped with:
Study table
Full bathroom
Hair dryer
Heating, air conditioning
Phone
TV
Safe
WiFi connection
