Relaxing weekend away in lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a relaxing stay in this fab cottage!

Everything was well laid out and we enjoyed an evening by the fire after for an early dinner in nearby Matlock . The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout with a large comfy bed to rest after a day exploring the local area. The cottage is on a quiet street in the village with great views across the valley from the upstairs bedroom . We were inspired to enjoy the countryside and took a walk from the cottage across Middleton moor to join the high peak trail to the Black rocks and were lucky to enjoy great views across nearby Cromford to Matlock on a sunny January morning ! There is a small private terrace behind the cottage where you can sit with a drink which would fabulous in warmer weather . I would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing get away and a good location to explore all that this part of Derbyshire has to offer.
