About the property

3 bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Sleeps 7

A picturesque and charming finca, Las Rosas is located at the foot of the hills between Puerto Pollenca and the sandy beaches of Cala San Vicente. The main property consists of two double bedrooms, both en-suite. There is a cozy atmosphere attached to the lounge and fitted kitchen, both lead onto a paved terrace that surrounds a large and ornate swimming pool.(15mx6m) The guest house, attached to the main house, comprises a double bedroom, bathroom and lounge all with garden and pool views. As its name suggests, colorful and fragrant flowers adorn the entrance to Las Rosas, and adjacent to the pool and landscaped gardens, maintained and secluded lawns are ideal for children or sunbathers. The sheltered barbeque area always enjoys the evening sun, making it a romantic spot for ‘Al-fresco’ dining. The ‘Mallorcan’ tiled sun deck provides a spectacular setting, overlooking the Mediterranean fruit tress and grape vines that adorn the private grounds. Less than a 10min walk to restaurants.

Mallorca/Pollenca: A 45 minute drive from the airport and Palma in the north of Mallorca lies the delightful municipality of Pollensa and the Port of Pollensa / Puerto Pollensa – a spectacular combination of sandy beaches, turquoise crystalline waters and beautiful countryside against a backdrop of stunning mountain scenery. As more and more people are discovering, Pollensa in Majorca is a delightfully unspoilt haven enticing families and couples to return year after year to this ideal holiday spot.

Puerto Pollenca/Cala San Vicente: The picturesque countryside around Pollensa is a colorful mixture of fertile fruit orchards and lightly wooded glades, bordered by hills to the south and dramatic rocky outcrops of Mallorca's northern mountains. Contained within ten square kilometers, the region stretches along the coast to Alcudia from the golden beaches of Puerto Pollensa and inland to the quaint, historic small town of Pollensa itself. To the north the shores of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente are fringed with kilometers of golden sand with water sports and ideal sun bathing for the more relaxing holiday. Both Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa offer a good selection of restaurants, ranging from cafes and tapas bars to fine dining. Pollensa, apart from its pretty square has the Via Crucis which is a notable attraction with its long stairway which ascends Calvary Hill, from which there are superb views over the coast. Puerto Pollensa is a pretty, unaffected resort that is a firm favorite with families.

Golf Information: The Pollensa Golf Club is open to non members. The challenging 9 hole courses have been described as some of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean, with a clubhouse, a restaurant which also welcomes non-golfers, a swimming pool, rental of clubs, trolleys and golf cars also available. Tuition can be arranged and there are regular tournaments.

Beautiful Villa in Quiet Area of Puerto Pollenca

  • 5 of 5

We were a party of four adults and two young children - three generations of the same family. The accommodation provided by Las Rosas was ideal for us all. The villa and gardens are just as spectacular as Daniel's photos on his web site - in fact, in reality, the setting is even better. The gardens were beautiflully maintaned and set off by the backdrop of craggy mountains. The villas were spotless and very well equipped. We all enjoyed the pool - especially the "4 boys"! The walk into Puerto Pollenca and the beach took about 20 minutes but was too tiring for a 3 year old and we all found that hiring a car for about 10/11 days of the holiday was very useful - especially when carrying large bottles of water from the supermarket.

The owner, Daniel, was very helpful throughout the booking process and during our holiday, and quickly sorted out any problems encountered.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Las Rosas and would definitely hope to holiday there again. Thank you, Daniel.

A beautiful garden and pool.

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at Las Rosas. The weather was excellent given that it was February, so we made a lot of use of the beautiful garden and terrace. The house is in an excellent position, close to the town but in a quiet location and with a country feel. It took only 15 mins stroll to reach the sea. The heating in the house was good so that in the chilly evenings the house was cosy and warm. Daniel was extremely helpful when we had any enquiry.

A very memorable Christmas Holiday at Las Rosas

  • 5 of 5

Last year we had the idea to spend Christmas and New Year in a house on Mallorca. We had never rented a house before and had searched the internet for hours to finally find Daniel's house. For us it was like love at first sight. The house with its beautiful bougainvillea, the garden, the whole setting was as we had expected it. The kitchen well equipped, the rooms cosy, a lovely garden with a nice and clean pool – the water pretty cold though! The weather couldn't have been better. Almost every day sunny and warm. So we often had lunch in the garden and enjoyed reading outside. We had a wonderful time and can

highly recommend "Las Rosas". Daniel is a great and considerate host and he went through great efforts to make our stay a memorable one.

Pretty gardens, great location.

  • 5 of 5

The only thing disappointing about this holiday when we arrived was the weather as it was very overcast followed by a couple of days of rain. The grounds have been accurately photographed and I would say the the internal photos don't do the villa justice as it was surprisingly large. The grounds and villa were clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and crockery. When the sun finally came out the garden really came into its own and is very pretty. There is lots of space to relax, a dining area, a garden, a roof terrace and around the poolside. The pool was freezing at this time of year as was expected but I expect it's fantastic in the summer. It's a 10 minute walk to the local supermarket Eroski which is much better value than the Spar shops along the front. It's about a 20 minute walk to the sea front. From the garden you get a picturesque view of the mountains behind and the local area is quiet and peaceful. So if you want the tranquility of a rural retreat but don't want to hire a car this is perfect. Daniel made sure everything was ok at the beginning of the holiday. I thoroughly recommend this rental property. Thank you for renting us your villa Daniel.

Very comfortable, well situated

  • 4 of 5

We came to stay with friends. We occupied the smaller house which suited us very well. The beds were comfortable and we had our own bathroom. The pool was a very good size. We didn't have a car and could walk very easily into town with all the seaside restaurants you could wish for. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly with any queries we had. The Kitchen was fairly well equipped.

A memorable holiday ...

  • 5 of 5

This villa comes highly recommended for all - young, old, families or just 3 couples looking for a memorable holiday. The finca is timeless in character, charming inside and astonishing outside. The pool and outside eating area are truly amazing and it will not be long before we shall be rebooking! The location makes this holiday villa perfect for access to the main square and beach plus Pinewalk and even my 6 year old daughter managed the 15 minute walk without a moan! Great communication with Daniel before, during and after our stay, making the whole process very easy. Thank you Daniel!

With fantastic soft sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and rugged mountain scenery, Pollenca is the idyllic retreat. Puerto Pollenca, a picturesque resort, which curves around a magnificent bay edged with a fabulous sandy beach, is ideal for families and couples alike. Las Rosas is the perfect retreat, and is just a 10 minute walk to the beaches and restaurants. Very secluded in beautiful grounds.
