Clean, light, airy, spacious, very comfortable, very well appointed - I felt at home here. Decor, furnishing, amenities, equipment - all more than you would expect and above standard. Good WiFi connexion - Bluetooth speaker. Location - in a quiet cul-de-sac with parking off the main road but no traffic noise. Great outlook- calming views across fields over the estuary of the River Camel to the coastal village of Rock the other side of the water. Very nice terrace and small garden with furniture - unfortunately rainy, windy weather meant I didn’t get the opportunity to sit outside. Padstow is a few minutes away by car, and a reasonable Tesco for provisions. Plenty of local restaurants. Fans of Asian food might like The Journeyman at Mellingey Mill about 4/5 minutes drive away where I had Nepalese lamb curry - excellent. Owners pleasant, unobtrusive but nearby if needed. Little Byways is such a nice place, great value for money - exceeds expectations.

A perfect winter break
We thoroughly enjoyed our all-too-short stay at Little Byways. With plenty to see and do within a 10-15 minute drive, we didn’t need to travel far, even in November when many places were closed for the winter. In the strong winds and rain we were warm and cosy, and during the sunny spells it was wonderful to watch the ever-changing light across the landscape. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches which make a holiday cottage feel more like a home. So glad we found Little Byways.
