About the property

3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 6

The house forms part of the oldest wing of Le Bagnaie, a 300 year old farm on a secluded hilltop, which was converted into 8 privately owned houses in 1990. All are beautifully restored in traditional rustic style with exposed beams, old terracotta floors and open fires, together with the modern convenience of superb marble bathrooms and central heating. Each house has its own paved terrace, garden and the shared facility of beautiful grounds, including a magnificent swimming pool, a children's pool, an all-weather tennis court and boules court. There are outstanding views of the surrounding countryside.

Paradise is a house in Tuscany. You do have a beautiful holiday home with stunning views. Isolated but easily accessible to civilisation. May we soon return.

Amazing Tuscan setting! Unparalleled views, beautiful patio and garden area!

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The best location to enjoy the sites around Tuscany or to just relax and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio! Home is quite comfortable - great for families. Pool setting (with children's pool), swings, and "community" vegetable garden add to the fun.

Perfect place for stay in Chianti

  • 5 of 5

The house and the amenities were even better than we would have expected. The view is breathtaking and the house is well equipped. There are many good wineries in the area where you can tast ( and of course buy) excellent Chianti wine.

It is a good starting point for sightseeing tours to Siena, San Gimigniano and Florence. The pool is also very nice and the perfect place to relax. Although you have to use a gravel road to reach the house, the next supermarket is only 10 minutes away.

One tip: it is possible to hire a local cook. She prepares a fantastic original Tuscany meal.

We can highly recommend this house !

Great holiday

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our holiday. The property is comfortable and well equipped. The view from the swimming pool is tremendous and it's nice to have other people around from the other 7 houses so you don't feel too isolated. There is a lot to see in this area and we particularly enjoyed visits to Siena, Castelina and Volterra to name just a few. A good car is essential and slit of the 'white' roads are rough.

This holiday suited all of us, including our 3 teenage children and elderly mum. We made friends with the one eyed cat and enjoyed the local produce rather too much!

Beauty with bugs

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay, beautiful grounds, house was well equipped, our only problem was bug bits. All four of us got them. Nothing too serious just annoying.

The pool was fantastic, beautiful setting, we all enjoyed. Loved the location in relationship to castillina , Florence, and Pisa, made for easy site seeing. The road in and out is quite long and very dusty, keep winded and paper towels in the car which worked out great.

Lovely house, perfectly picturesque

  • 5 of 5

The house is an amazing place to stay and a great base camp for exploring the surrounding areas in Tuscany.

The pool and gardens are perfect for a lazy afternoon with beautiful views.

The rooms are all very homely, the kitchen is ideal for requirement, and with a Coop not too far away, great for a cooking evening in with some good wine!

All in all, a great place to stay with or without family!

A holiday in glorious Tuscan countryside!

  • 5 of 5

The property is situated on a hilltop close to Castellini in Chianti with splendid views to both front and rear. It is part of an exclusive complex of luxury houses that once comprised a farmstead but which was converted to its present state some 25 years ago. The surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained and there is an adjoining large swimming pool for use by all residents.

The property is well very appointed and extremely comfortable with air conditioning . WiFi is on site so we were able to stay in touch with the world !!

There is an excellent selection of restaurants close by and well known Tuscan towns like Sienna are within an easy drive.

We had a wonderful time at the house and would have no hesitation in recommending it for a holiday stay!
