The Apartment (sleeps 4/5/6+) has 3 bedrooms. A double bedroom with 5ft wide comfy bed, a gallery bedroom with 2 single beds and the garden bedroom with a double sofa-bed suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. At the front entrance to the Apartment is a south-facing patio area with table and chairs to enable 'al fresco' eating. The Apartment comprises a large kitchen and dining table, large lounge with high ceilings and large, original school windows that bring in light, views of the garden and surrounding area into the living accommodation. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size oven and dishwasher. Comfortably furnished throughout; there are 3 leather sofas in the lounge and there is also a 32' TV (with freeview), with a DVD player and recorder. The bathroom has both large bath and shower.
Outside is a large mature garden with Cornish palms, colourful flowers, benches and a relaxing pond. In the shed there are loungers, picnic tables, barbeque and a large trampoline.
The Old Primary School was built in approx. 1875 and is a fine example of a Victorian school house. It was converted for holiday accommodation in 2000 and the décor, facilities and services have been updated regularly.
Both the Cottage and Apartment have dedicated private parking and private entrances. There is separate wi-fi networks for each property, which are both strong and fast. Each property enjoys fantastic views and there is a very large shared garden with picnic tables, bbq, loungers and other amenities. Guests remark on the great location of the accommodation, with easy access to all the spectacular sights around the area. The building stands alone and surrounded by fields, but is only 200m from the village. The village is very picturesque and has an old Norman church and the village pub serves very good food and drink. Approximately 800m down the road is the village of Crowlas which has a convenience store and pub. All bedding and towels are provided, and the kitchens are well fitted out. Stacey and Steve have provided just about everything you would need for a great stay.

The atmosphere of the area ... Very relaxing and quiet location (nestled between 2 fields, opposite allotments), views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Convenient for A30 which means that everywhere in West Cornwall is on the doorstep ie St Ives, Penzance, Marazions and all the lovely little villages.. Near to so may lovely places! You can see St Michael's Mount from the house and village,
The Welcoming feel feel of the accomodation .. Our previous guests comment that our accomodation is like a 'home from home' because we like to think we have thought of everythng you need during your stay ie Welcome Pack of local paper, bicuits tea, coffee, milk, flowers all kitchen requirements including flowers, washing up liquid, kitchen towels etc. Idyllic...

We really enjoyed exploring the beautiful beaches and coves, particularly Praa Sands, Mullion Cove, Kyance Cove, Godrevy, Sennon Cove. Just loved the atmosphere of the old towns and villages. Two excellent meals at The Whit Hart Inn.

A very pleasant, characteristic, quiet location with a lot of space in- and outside. A beautiful view nearby at St. Michael's Mount. And a lot to do just in the surroundings.
Lovely quirky property with a light and airy open plan living room and kitchen with a far reaching view out over countryside. Great location just a few miles from St ives, Penzance, lands end, Mousehole, Porthcurno etc. Only minor downside was lack of washing machine with a toddler, but we hand washed when we needed to and i expect the owners would have happily helped had i asked. If you're looking for a roomy, clean, characterful place to stay with gardens and in a great location this is it!
We spent two weeks at this great apartment and the beautiful Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The owners were very nice and helpful. The location of the "Old Primary School" is very suitable for exploring West Cornwall. Very recommendable, we will be back one day!
We stayed one week with our family in the old primary school and it was much nicer than the description. We were really impressed of this nice location. The owner are very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We had a really good time and would like to stay there any time again.

The location is very convenient to visit the western part of Cornwall (close to St. Ives, St. Michael's Mount , Penzance and Land's End). The property is very spacious, very nice and very good equipped. It was very clean and well-maintained. All facilities worked perfectlly. A car parking place was also available. The owner were very friendly and helpful. I should recommend this property to anyone.
