Having attained a 'High 3 Star' Visit Wales accreditation to ensure quality & high standards are maintained, this spacious 2 bed apartment with free WIFI is in a fantastic location on the main A478 Tenby road, 4 miles from Tenby & 2 miles from Saundersfoot (3 minutes by car or leisurely 20 min. walk), 2 minutes from Folly Farm & has off street parking.

Close to all amenities, shops, fast food takeaways etc., bus stop virtually outside the front door, railway station 2 minutes by car or a 10-15-minute walk. It is ideal for exploring all the delights of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children.

This apartment is accessible via a self-contained front entrance accessed by a flight of stairs that leads to a lounge/diner and master bedroom on the right and to the left, a fully fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar, bathroom and children’s bedroom with bunk beds.

The stylish Lounge/diner has a Smart TV/DVD Player with HDMI lead to connect your own TV Box or games console. Videos and books are provided for you to enjoy during your stay and the oak dining table and chairs are perfect for family mealtimes.
The kitchen contains fridge with freezer box, washing machine, gas hob and electric fan oven, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and all utensils, tea towels, oven gloves etc. that you would expect to find in your own home to make your holiday hassle free. The breakfast bar with 2 bar stools is ideal for breakfast time or for a quick cuppa before exploring the delights of the area.
The bathroom has a bath with overhead rain shower head and towels are supplied.

The Master bedroom has plenty of storage space with a mirrored wardrobe and spacious drawers containing a hairdryer and a separate hanging rail for longer dresses etc.
Bedroom 2 is decorated with children in mind with 2 bunk beds and handy drawer storage space with individual lights for each bed and ‘goodie storage pockets’.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE HAPPY TO ACCEPT A 2 NIGHT STAY BUT WE NEED TO ADD A CLEANING & LAUNDRY FEE OF £50 FOR THIS SHORT STAY. ANY STAYS OF 3 NIGHTS OR LONGER, THEN NO CLEANING/LAUNDRY FEE WILL BE APPLIED.

The property was as described, the main thing lacking was the internet in the property which was very poor, we think that should be improved, other than that Steve the Landlord was very approachable and easy to talk to he made us very welcome, we had a very nice time and would book again

Great proprty in an ideal location
The property is great and has everything you would need for a few days away. The flat was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There are games provided in case of bad weather or in the evening but we were lucky to have amazing weather. Steve is very friendly and helpful and provided us with information about walks and parking in nearby Saundersfoot and Tenby. We would definitely stay here again when we return to the area and would recommend it to friends and family.

Our host was very welcoming and helpful, even ran us to the pub as we had been delayed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, lovely clean flat, with everything we needed. Comfy beds, cosy etc. Top notch!!

We had the best mini break even with torrential rain and gale force winds. Steve is superb super happy to help and offer guidance. The flat is lovely and very accommodating. Suited us as a familynif 3 and very well equipped. All within good distance of saundersfoot and tenby. We will be back and will recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic location, close to Saundersfoot and Tenby, but far enough to have peace and quiet. Steve has great local knowledge and told us where to park and best routes, places to visit and what to avoid, really helpful gentleman. Chinese up the road is great, Co-op 2 mins down the road if you need bread and milk. Apartment was really clean and spacious, keeps you fit going up and down the stairs from kitchen to lounge, really cosy, warm and uosts were very welcoming. Honestly it was one of the best shorts stays we have been on. Thank you both for a relaxing stress free stay.

After working as a Glassmaker for 34 years, Steve's family business 'Avondale Glass' was slowly wound down & was sold in 2016. Having done all his football coaching badges,Steve now works as a Football Coach at Pembrokeshire College & also part time as a PE teacher as well as working as a DJ since the age of 17. Linda has worked as a Nurse all her life, with a short break as a health care teacher/assessor. Between us we have 5 children and 6 grandchildren and we consider ourselves very privileged to live in such a beautiful part of the world & we are sure that you will enjoy your visit too, based in our very nice and comfortable apartment. From our home to your home from home. PS Steve is a World Record Holder. He is the World's fastest Backwards Talker, so why not challenge him when you meet him!

Why they chose this property

Steve bought the property back in 2000 which used to be a public house with a view to relocating his family's Glassmaking/Glassblowing business, Avondale Glass here from Kilgetty village due to the superior location. However, this never happened, so it was developed into a family home.

The location of this property made us initially purchase it
with it being ideally close to everywhere & everything without being in the middle of the main resorts with all the parking & traffic problems that occur in high season. All amenities are also close by including shops, takeaways, bus & train stops. We are personally close by and on hand should you encounter any problems or have any enquiries whilst staying in our lovely apartment. Every home comfort is on hand with free WIFI & off-road parking right outside the front door. The location is perfect for exploring all the delights of Pembrokeshire, whilst being minutes away from the iconic resorts of Tenby & Saundersfoot & some of the best beaches in the UK. Quite simply, our apartment is perfect for your family holiday or short break from a convenience, location and comfort viewpoint. You will not be disappointed.
