Two spacious balconies with breathtaking sea views. The penthouse furnished to a high standard has two bedrooms for 4 persons, both with built-in wardrobes, the master of which has a double bed and the second bedroom is equipped with two single beds. There are two bathrooms one with full size bath, the other with shower cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. The spacious living room with its towered roofing is furnished with sofa-beds and has a separate dining area. SAT TV (English, Spanish channels), CD, DVD, wi-fi internet available. The apartment is cold and hot air-conditioned. Additionally, there are infra-red radiators in the bedrooms.
Two spacious terraces offer a spectacular view, one opening from the living room and the other is connected to the bedrooms. Double beachfront (both to Med and Mar Menor) with undisturbed, breathtaking view over the peninsula. There is lift in the house directly from the garage to the penthouse. Two communal swimming pools in the communal area.Ideal for a relaxing family holiday.
Local activities in and around La Manga: This is truly a magnificent place for families and couples alike. You can walk for hours on the beautiful, sandy beach from just outside of the apartment. The apartment is located within a couple of minutes drive of Thomas Maestre Marina with high-class restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets, bank, pharmacy etc.
You might try the mud beaches at Mar Menor acclaimed for their curing properties.
For adventures, you can try sailing, windsurfing, scuba-diving, kite-surfing, water-skiing, wake-boarding, jet-ski and quad-bike rental. To make your stay even more enjoyable you might try the facilities of the newly opened 5 star Abity Spa Hotel located close to the complex offering spa, sauna, fitness centre/gym, Turkish bath, massage, whirlpool, hairdresser/beauty salon.
The world famous La Manga Golf Club Resort is within 15 minutes drive. It is considered to be one of Europe's finest golfing destinations. You can get pampered here by their spa facilities as well.
The beautiful historic town of Cartagena and the bustling capital city of Murcia are also within a short drive where the Spanish culture flourishes. Also if traditional Spain interests you, at the end of the strip there is Cabo de Palos, a small fishing village, with its vast array of excellent harbour-side fish restaurants. Its Sunday open-air market is a colourful event. Santiago de Ribera can be reached by the 2 hourly ferry service which takes about 20 minutes from Thomas Maestre Marina.
La Manga is a lively place with all amenities in the nearby. Plenty of shops, bazars, discos, casino can be found all along the strip.
For high-class shopping, you might drive to the nearby shopping centre or enjoy shopping in Corte Ingles department store in Cartagena.

Great weather and apartment and area suited us but is rather quiet compared with La Manga strip.
Disappointing that UK TV supply was not working and the swimming pool was being rebuilt and not in use.
Wow. The best apartment and location we have ever stayed in. This from a group of seasoned travellers with high expectations. Truly the pictures do not do this apartment or location justice. Yes you need a car if you want to venture anything more than 15 mins walk but I think that is a minor point when you consider a literal stones throw to two amazing beaches, views of both Mar Menor and the Med and a choice of two large balconies to sunbathe/watch the sunset. The apartment boasts a full range of amenities ... we struggled to think of anything that was missing! Great, clean pool with none of the usual shrieking kids or families being loud. Typical tasty Spanish fare everywhere with not a full English in sight! Couldn't ask for more. I know everyone says it but we are already checking the calendar for the next free week!
From start to finish the booking & taking possession of the apartment was seamless. The listing is very accurate & the apartment is well furnished, very clean & in a great location. There is a good sized communal pool & plenty of space to sunbathe. Although we sunbathed on both balconies morning & afternoon, no need to go downstairs if you don't want to. The views are wonderful of both the med & the mar menor. A car is a necessity to get about in la manga & we often ate at the boat & down by the port. I would highly recommend the apartment to friends & family & will hopefully be returning myself in the coming years.
I would highly reccomend this appartment , the location is superb between the med and Mar Menor right on the beach. The appartment was spotless and had everything that was needed. We were met by Dave to give us the key and he could not have been more helpful. All in all a very enjoyable holiday thanks very much
We have just spent a week in this lovely penthouse. It fully lives up to the description - the views from the terrace are fantastic and gets sun for most of the day. The penthouse is beautifully and tastefully furnished and has everything you need for a great holiday. It is situated near a lovely little beach within walking distance, although a car hire gives you much more freedom. Acess to the garage is very easy and the parking spot for the penthouse is right beside the lift. The pool and the pool area are clean and well kept and the pool is graded in depth and very long, great for doing those keep fit lenghts!
The penthouse is in a quiet area and it is lovely to come back after a day out and relax on the terrace and watch the sun go down. We went on the ferry from the Tomas Maestre marina over to Santiago de la Ribera and I would recommend this trip. There is a market in Cabo de Palo every Sunday which is well worth a visit - plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables on sale as well as the usual market fare.
Just come back from Apartment and have booked straight away for 2009. We had a lovely time at the apartment for the last two weeks air conditioning was superb and needed as it was low to mid 30's for both weeks.
Apartment has a lovely location serviced by a lift to right outside the entrance door, so easy to get bags from car in underground carpark to room.
Location is Penthouse with views of Mar Menor on one side and Med on the other and these are easily seen from both balconies. I have taken so many pictures of beautiful sunsets and views. The beach is accessed from the Pool side so no crossing roads (great for young kids) and the beach is so safe for swimming you go out for 100m before it is up to your shoulders.
Apartment is beautifully decorated and very well equipped it so good to have use of a dishwasher and washing machine as well as a large fridge freezer and the two bathrooms are great when you have two boys and everyone has to shower after the beach.
Apartment is just North of popular Thomas Maestre Marina (which is busy) our stretch of beach only has the residents of the apartments and so is never busy and is very safe we left chairs and umbrellas on beach as all the other families did at lunch time (very safe). We found last time we stayed in La Manga (closer to 2km up the strip) that it was very noisy and busy with traffic but this location is so quite, we had a hire car so getting about was no problem - although you can get to supermarkets and restaurants on foot/taxis you would be better with a car and we loved
the choice of fresh vegetables, fish and meats at Supercor supermarket.
My Children have been to Tenerife and Menorca for last 6 years and absolutely raved about staying at this apartment in La Manga and adored the beach and sea - the renters take pride in their property and we will be back for 2009.

Beautiful beach front penthouse ideal for a relaxing holiday. It is located on the 6th floor with breathtaking sea views on the Peninsula of La Manga between the Med Sea and the Mar Menor Lagoon close to prestigous Tomás Maestre Harbour. The building is situated on one of the thinnest part of the strip. The closest airport is in Murcia (San Javier), however the road from Alicante takes also only an hour. Sandy, several miles long beach is just outside the building on the Mediterranean sea, while there are also several smaller beaches on the Mar Menor seashore just across the road. The climate of the area is acclaimed to be one of the healthiest in the world with approx. 300 sunny days and the salty water. Ideal for couples and families with children given the ample opportunities for watersports as well as the calm, shallow water of the Mar Menor beaches. Car recommended though regular bus service is available along the whole strip.
