3 bed house with pool in Torre de La Horadada. Air conditioning, WiFi & Netflix

This is a 3 bedroom house in the small Spanish town, Torre de la Horadada. It is a short walk to the beach and has full air conditioning, wifi and Netflix.

Property details-

At the front of the property is a large patio which catches the sun in the morning. The front door leads into the living area which is a long room with the seating area at one end, dining space (table and 6 chairs) in the middle, and a small but well equipped kitchen at the other end. The seating area has a 32" Smart TV, with Netflix set up so that visitors can watch it. There is also a DVD player with a large selection of DVDs and a Nintendo SNES mini.

Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 of which is a double and 1 is a twin room. There is also a family bathroom with a bath with a shower over it.

The kitchen area leads out on to a pleasant patio, which has a large dining table and 6 chairs so that visitors can eat outside. This patio is a real sun trap, and so there is also a large awning that can be extended if the sun gets too hot. This patio has a gate that leads into the communal pool area, which has showers and 2 beautiful swimming pools.

The patio area also has a set of outside steps that lead up to the sun terrace, and also to the third bedroom and another bathroom. This means that the third bedroom cannot be accessed directly from the house but via the outside patio. The upstairs bedroom has its own bathroom, and is furnished with a double bed and a single bed.

This house has 3 different outside spaces which is a great advantage if you are wanting to sit in either the sun or the shade.

We bought this house in October 2017 as our own holiday home, but have also ensured that it is well equipped for visitors. As well as the TV, Netflix, Nintendo mini SNES and DVD player with DVDs, the house also has board games. The house has WIFI. The kitchen has (as well as all the usual appliances) a toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The house also has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and straighteners. Outside there is a large dining table to seat 6 and a smaller table at the front, 2 sun loungers and 2 easy chairs.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans have been installed in every bedroom and also in the living area.

Torre de la Horadada is a beautiful town with lots of Spanish character. It is known for its beaches, which range from small rocky coves, to large stretches of white sand. It has a small marina and a long promenade which is pleasant to walk along. It also has a number of restaurants and bars, many of them situated around 2 central squares. In the town itself, there are a few small shops, and a reasonably sized supermarket. There is a greater range of shops and supermarkets on the outskirts and in the nearby Pilar de la Horadada. There is also a new plaza which has a number of bars & restaurants which has recently opened.

There is a weekly market in Torre, and another in Pilar de la Horadada. The relatively new and large shopping centre, La Zenia Boulveard, which has numerous well known shops and restaurants is a 15 minute drive away.

This house is very well situated. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the nearest beach, and there are a wide range of beaches that can be reached. The nearest supermarket is a 6 minute walk away, and a number of restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance.

The property is managed by a small local company with British owners. They will meet you at the property and give you the keys, and will be available should you need help during your stay.

Please note that if you arrive at the property between 10 pm and midnight there will be an additional charge of 50 Euros, payable upon arrival.

We cannot accept bookings for arrivals or departures at the house between midnight and 8am.

Torre de la Horadada is 35 minutes away from the new airport near Murcia (Corvera Airport), and 45 minutes from Alicante airport.

Linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided, and if you stay for 2 weeks then a second set of bedding and bath towels are provided. The price quoted includes the following fees for the end of visit cleaning of the property: 80 Euros plus 25 Euros per week for laundry services. Should you require an additional clean mid stay, then this can be provided for 75 Euros.

A welcome pack (bread, milk, butter, coffee, tea, sugar, jam, orange juice and water) is provided upon arrival.

The house has a high chair, travel cot and linen if required.

Smoking is not permitted inside the property.

Comfortable house, very well equipped and in an excellent location. I recommend you stay.
The host Andrew proved us with excellent communications and information both prior to our arrival and after we had departed and this level of customer service and thoughtfulness was reflected in the property itself. Andrew's local representative Grace met us and provided us with an overview of the property and a description of the local area. She also provided us with her phone number and told us not to hesitate to call her if we had any problems. Our first impression was how spotlessly clean the property was and how well it equipped it is, including a brand new hob and fridge freezer having been installed. There is good space both inside and outside the house including a very nice roof sun terrace . Just outside the back gate is one of the 2 swimming pools in the complex. The house location is excellent being within easy walking distance of numerous bar & restaurants, beaches and a good supermarket. So its 10 out of 10 for us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the house.

We are a family from Ilkley in England. We bought the property in 2017 mainly as a holiday home for our family. We have rented the property from when we first bought it as our children are still at school and to make the most use of the house. We're very grateful to have met the owners of Costa Keys who manage the property for us. They welcome and look after our guests and have allowed us to rent the property. Our guests have always been very pleased with them and it makes our life much easier to have them available to help us.

Why they chose this property

We visited much of the coastline and fell in love with Torre de la Horadada almost straight away. Torre has a number of really nice beaches and we love that there is a choice of town squares with restaurants that we can visit in the evenings. We also love the contrast in the town between most of the year when the town is quieter and the summer months of July and August when it fills up with visitors and lots of smaller shops and restaurants appear that we haven't spotted before.

What makes this property unique

We immediately loved the house when we found it. It's ideal for us with the house being on a quiet street but being able to go straight from the house and the veranda to the pool and being a short distance to restaurants and beaches. The house set up has also been ideal for us with the upstairs room. It allows us to make the most use of the house and we have been able to have guests stay with us but have their own space upstairs. The pool area is a lovely quiet area just for the residents and it's great to have in between beach visits.
