2 bedroom 1 bathroom spacious apartment with separate kitchen and large terrace

2 Large bedrooms both with king size beds. Fitted wardrobes and plenty of storage. Independent kitchen. Sky channels on flat screen television. One bathroom with shower cubicle and bidet. Second shower available in separate utility room. Fully equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Fully fitted kitchen with microwave and coffee machine. Large terrace with bbq,dining area and sun loungers and chairs. Situated in the Spanish quarter, convenient for the beach, banks and restaurants, and also only a short stroll to the Mercadona plaza and the English bars and restaurants. Although on the first floor there is a lift and ramp for wheel chair access.

Our property is very private. The location is ideal, with the main bus stop for Cartagena, Murcia, Alicante etc. just around the corner. This is real Spain, where the Spanish choose to holiday. However with the bars and restaurants in the Mercadona Plaza, you can also get a taste of home, Italy, or India within a 10 minute stroll!

Great place to stay

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with an added bonus of a large balcony outside. It is well positioned near a good Tapas bar, shops, restaurants and the sea. Ideal for two couples or a small family. Not terribly impressed with airport collection and will take a taxi in future. A number of minor things did go wrong but that can happen. The apartment does need an 'face lift' but is terribly nice and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Julia

Great place to stay

We had been staying on the La Manga strip for 10 days and had booked this place for a week to chill out in the sun when our family returned home. It is a clean and spacious two bed property in a residential area of Los Alcazares. We did not mind that there was no view from the terrace as we wanted SUN. The apartment is well equipped and has the double bonus of UK TV and decent wifi (for BBC and C4 catchup and ITV streaming). The lounge has comfortable setees (not the awful fold-out bed type). The sun is on the terrace most of the day and so it was lovely to have a covered-in section with table and chairs when it got too hot.

The local supermarket was a few minutes' walk, as was the Mar Menor. The Spar shown on Maps was not open when we stayed. If you walk past the Tennis centre through the tree-lined way outside and go to the end of the trees, turned right and looked left as you arrive at the main road, you will see the American restaurant, the Chinese multi shop and a good supermarket.

The only slight negative is that the utility room really smells awful. It could easily be solved, as the washing machine just needs the waste to be plumbed in with a standard water trap.

This place is highly recommended by us.

Overall we enjoyed our stay particularly, location, space, close to beach

The apartment was a good size with a spacious outside terrace, great for us & our dog. Generally, maintenance & updating is required. Having English TV was good as we stayed a month. Wifi although available was very expensive and should really be included in the price, We liked the central location & proximity to the beach. There's a good bar a few yards along with friendly owner who cooks a great paella!

Lovely relaxing stay

Listing accurate with everything provided. Set in a good location minutes from supermarket and a short walk to old town and beach. Plenty restaurants in walking distance and enjoyed a drink at nearby little bar whose staff were very friendly and tapas was very tasty. Would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Really comfy home from home

The apartment description is accurate and we were pleasantly surprised by just how comfortable the apartment was. The location was great everything within walking distance. The old town with authentic resturaunts was close by and supermarkets and beach were all within a few minutes walk. There is a tapas bar on the same street as the apartment and we were blown away by the hospitality

and friendliness of the owners and locals. The tapas are home made by the mother and the prices are so reasonable. The only glitch was the airport transfer as I did not receive any meeting instructions so had to wait at the airport when I arrived for the taxi to arrive.

We had a thoroughly great 2 week winter break here

accurate description, clean and well maintained ( except u/s hot towel rail)....we WOULD recommend it to friends /relatives.Local facilities excellent ( particularly convenient for dog - walk to beach!!) We did not , sadly have the pleasure of meeting the aforementioned Julia and would welcome an opportunity to make some constructive comments about the arrival procedure of The Manager, in the interests of those coming after us! Thanks.....couple in mid seventies February

Spacious 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Located in the popular Spanish town and seaside resort of Los Alcazares, Mar Menor. The kitchen, has patio doors leading out to a covered al fresco dining area and a separate utility room housing a washing machine, ironing board and extra shower for your convenience. The well furnished lounge comes complete with flat screen T.V. with British Satellite channels. A patio door leads from the lounge onto the terrace. The apartment gets the sun all day, and there are awnings to keep some welcome shade from the lounge. Both bedrooms are large and airy and have king size beds. The master bedroom also has patio doors leading on to the terrace. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the lounge for your comfort. Ideally located in the Spanish town centre a 5min stroll to the beach, and old church. Around the corner from the Tuesday Market and convenient for the buses running to Cartagena and Murcia. Only 10 min walk to the Mercadona Plaza.

Golf: Los Alcazares is central to a number of quality golf courses, Roda Golf, Mar Menor Golf, Serena Golf, all within easy reach. The famous La Manga golf club is only a 15 min drive away. There are special offers, and golf equipment hire available from local shops and associations.
